Have to win the next two games for me to take it seriously. That would include the one against Memphis

that and good teams blow people out, at least on occasion if not with regularity.

Yeah I’m not concerned with chemistry especially when it comes to THT’s minutes as he usually doesn’t fit well where they use him. We’ve had the most different starting lineups in the league this year - I think it’s 19 total. We need to find out what Nunn can do for us. Because he had a bone bruise they will keep him out until he is fully healed. Once healed he can play without worry. So once he’s cleared he can go for it. We’ve seen THT already. Not great. Reaves’ minutes might get hit too but he’s a rookie and that is expected. I still think Reaves will get more burn than THT because he fits better.

Yeah, I'm not impressed by the recent wins, but I'm also not worried about the previous losses. LeBron has been carrying the team, but we are not winning anything without a healthy and focused AD. In the meantime, I agree that giving Nunn heavy minutes before the trade deadline is a good call, and probably a decision made by the FO and Vogel together.

I honestly don't know what THT is better at this year than he was last. Not a good sign IMO.

    Good game.
Yes, his shot still needs work but he was good on both ends tonight.
Was I hearing things, or did Billy Mac call him “THC” in the second quarter going into a commercial break?

I'm more relieved than impressed with our wins. We are showing effort, you can build off that.

Lots of talent too for optimizing over next couple months. Just give us reasonable health.

I feel sorry for the people that had to watch this on ESPN. Jackson ranting about some Indiana pacers 1994 nonsense, just ignores the dunk like Joe Buck calling a big play.

meanwhile on spectrum we get this great call

These are national TV games, it’s supposed to be exciting, entertaining, nobody wants to hear Jackson’s boring a**. How is he still employed, and how hasn’t ESPN found a good announcing team by now, after decades?

That dunk was insane! Nice to see THT deliver back to back good games.

I used to prefer the nationally televised broadcasts. Felt like they made the game feel more significant and had higher production value.

In the past few years though, I think the commentary has fell off a cliff. The vast majority of the national broadcasters have an anti-Lakers bias. And many of the guys like Van Gundy and Jackson will go off on unrelated and uninteresting tangents all the time.

So now, it’s always Spectrum if that’s an option.

Today I was watching the first half with some relatives and they had put the game on ESPN.

They had a segment starting off with the sideline guy saying something along the lines of “You may be wondering why AD isn’t in the lineup”… um, no. Respect the intelligence of your audience. Any basketball fan should know that AD is out with injury. Later there were a few seconds where they had a huge picture of some player’s Tweet blocking our view of the play on court.

Minor annoyances sure, but whenever I tune in, their broadcasts are littered with things like this.

So true. These clowns on all the networks often continue with some unimportant or inane banter they had started …. right over a great or important play on the floor, and never even mention the play. Like they are the main entertainment and not the game itself. :swear: :swear: :swear:

commentary on NBA games has been pretty bad for a long time outside of Doris and a couple of other folks. It really needs to be addressed.

It has been bad for decades. Tom Heinson on CBS was an insufferable ****** fan. Doug Collins. The Ferengi. Did I mention Doug Collins? He was horrible.

Off topic a bit and a 180 in mood …. MWP is doing well on SSN, I think. Has good fashion sense too. Hip and cool …. not a clownish dork.
