yeah, i'll be curious to see. nunn wasn't really finding his way in the preseason, either. he's a better shooter, so at least in that regard it's helpful. but defensively, i think he's a downgrade from THT/reaves. in theory, he's an easier offensive fit than THT for sure.
IDK...if Nunn plays like he is capable, I can see us going with the 4 guards and Lebron or Melo lineups until AD gets back. Then 3 guards Lebron and AD, with a 3 guard line up coming off the bench. I've become resigned to the fact, that we are looking to become the small ball Rockets minus the billion 3 point attempts in each game. Maybe the FO thinks that is how to matchup with GS, PHX and Utah.
Could have been injured in the preseason. Who knows, though?. He grades out as a better defender than THT. I would love to curtail Russell's mins and have THT and Nunn play together, but that likely isn't happening.
me too. russ: please play 28mpg and defend while you do it. there is no need to "conserve energy for offense" on our roster. to me, this was part of the point of getting a third star--so that folks could go hard in fewer minutes. instead, we have lebron and russ playing big minutes with some of them being completely half-assed.
Unbelievable. He could be good, but he needs to be moved for someone who can actually play if they hope to save this season.
