I guess we weren’t watching the same game because I saw him consistently camp out with one foot almost in the paint, all night long. He did make one play in the fourth in which he left his favorite camping spot and deflected the ball out of bounds.

On offense, he did. I will encourage you to watch where he stands on defense when he’s off ball tomorrow. His rebounding numbers come at a steep price: always being out of position on defense, putting the team at a disadvantage.

I don't like him scavenging for rebounds either.. a lot of them are definitely forced and when it doesn't work in his favor the team takes the impact. He is a skilled rebounder though for his size, and he can grab a big board quite often, I don't give a s*** about his stupid triple doubles.. I'd much rather see him efficiently handling the ball, playing defense and distributing in the clutch and not panicking.

We do need someone who isn't slow as Hogans goat though, and he does push the ball well at times.. Lebron is like drying cement it's hard to watch and kills the offense and any pace they have, no matter what his stas or +/- shows , he's incredibly slow.. this team without Russ is geriatric paced.

Also I'm not picking on Russ here, the entire team has rebounding issues. Even A.D. lacks effort sometimes and just stands there watching instead of boxing out or patrolling the board.

Loved the two man pick and roll game with Lebron down the stretch. Unstoppable!

Yeah it was awesome them hitting each other with great crisp passes. Bet we see a lot more of that.

I know you’re joking but for the record AB is shooting 40% from three this season.

yeah, but it's sort of like bruce bowen shooting near 50% that one year--it's great, but it's also because it's the option the opposition is willing to live with. the expected value of a wide open avery bradley three is 1.2 points. the value of a wide open westbrook layup is (sadly slightly less than) 2 points.

Bottom line ,141-50 is his team's record when he records a triple double. Frankly I'd like to see him get one in every game moving forward. It would mean that we won more often than not.

Lebron and Westbrook have shared 604 minutes together and have NET RTG of 0.8. Shows that they're redundant

The goal is to score more than the other team which they are not doing when they both play on the court together. There's 600 minutes of evidence

I'm saying why does this chart shows that they are redundant? What are their numbers plus AD? There doesn't seem to be a lot of evidence of much, except that the other players on the team, haven't played much with both of them.

Lebron/AD/Westbrook have played 15 games together and 291 minutes. They outscore other teams by 3.7 points. Its not that much better either.

i think rock's point is that the whole is less than the sum of the parts. which is most certainly true, and i'm not really prepared to hear an argument on it, tbh.

miami with lebron/bosh/wade was the same, btw. stat models had them losing like -12 games or something. there's something to be said for fit, and while talent can overcome it, it better be a lot more talent than your better-fitting competitors have. we don't have that now.

to comment on the other stuff: lol at trading westbrook for wall. do we really have nothing better to do than write such junk?
