The guy plays almost 40 minutes. We are a plus 9.

The guy sits 8 minutes, we are - 16.

We have to play him 40 frigging minutes just to be competitive.

I'm sorry Rob, you've failed miserably.

Westbrook needs to help Lebron carry some of the weight, at this rate hes going to break too/again.

LeGM looks good now, but his effort to start the season was pi$$ poor, rubbed off on AD and got us off to a terrible start to the season against weak teams. He wanted more help so he could coast through the regular season. Too bad the Russ experiment has failed and he has to “do everything” again. Poor baby. He created this team. I don’t feel sorry for him one bit.

If Lebron plays 40 out of the remaining 48 games and averages 24, hes gonna pass Malone for #2 on the all time scoring list.

If he averages 25 a game for the next 97 games he's gonna pass Kareem for #1. Very strong possibility in the 2nd half of 2022-2023 season you will see Lebron get there.

Not surprising. Shooters + mobile big men = plenty of room for Lebron especially in the paint.

No Russ means more space for THT as well you looked much better as well.

Same old same old: if you have spacing and guys who can switch on D (in this case Lebron, Stanley, and THT) you can make things work

Its hard to teach old dogs new tricks. We may have to go back to the 2019/2020 style of letting LBJ get control of the ball and offense and put a bunch of 3 and D guys around him and AD ( push him back to the 4).

Lebron has the same habits as Westbrook, hes not as effective without the ball in his hands and he roams a bit on defense.

We didn’t do anything special on offence, we just hit a ton of shots as a team and a lot of them were 3s and contested layups. In the first quarter we were missing those.

The comeback happened on the D side.

Lebron has always been very effective doing the screen and roll and also cutting as he displayed more on Christmas. He needs to continue to do that as it leads to easy baskets for our offense.

i honestly don't know the answer so this isn't a rhetorical question (but might end up as one):

how does his FGA% breakdown across those areas. my eye tells me he's shooting a high percentage at the hoop because he's not taking as many there (and they're less contested than they used to be), and that he's shooting more threes than he should be considering his success rate.

i'm willing to be proven wrong with those stats, though.

Lebron getting the start at center. There's a first for everything when you're the 2021-22 Lakers.

Another great one for Bron. Nice to see us not squander it like we have been lately.

Great two man game with Russ to put this game away. Ran the same play again and again and Rockets just couldn't stop it.

Hard to believe that in this long of a career, he's never once started at C.

Also heard them mention this one during the telecast...

Well true shooting percentage remains the best metric to look at efficiency and he's at 61.4% which is good. Not his best but better then the past two years. So combined between restricted area and 3 pointers seem to be working out well.

He's 26th in the league with TS%. Slightly behind Durant but ahead of LaVine and Curry. So he's doing real well for being a high volume scorer
