likes the the left elbow, and we get him the ball there a lot.

why we keep giving him the ball outside the arc is beyond me.

i see that folks like to vent their spleen on specific guys. lebron shoots way too many lazy threes, but his thread isn't full of this kind of junk.

This, I think it also attributes to him taking/making a couple more 3s back in NO due to having more shots.

Yeah it baffled me why in the world he would take 3 pt shots at times, if we need a Hail Mary my first option wouldn't be AD but it scream politics to me.

ok, i went back and watched it all, and i have no clue what the AD whiners are talking about, quite frankly. i thought he looked like the best player on the floor, on both ends, for either team, pretty much all game long.

the suggestion that adebayo got after him is ludicrous, and i think even adebayo would agree, tbh. he went at AD like 7 or 8 times, all but two of which ended with him neither him nor his team scoring, and his two successes were (beta alert!) 12 foot jumpers that he often misses.

finally, if AD had gotten the same respect from the officials that adebayo got, he'd have had 4-6 more FTAs, too.

anyway, AD was not at all a problem in that game and was really the only reason we weren't blown out in the third, imo.

What a bunch of baloney. Can’t be true. As @KareemtheGreat33 says he’d have to have his wussy a** close to the basket for those numbers to be real. :swear: :giggle: ;)

What I always say is vote your pocket book and accept when the ball bounces the other way. Problem with so many people is they don't vote for what effects them, they vote for some nebulous belief that they cannot even explain. A hope without logic. Vote what is best for your family, take care of your family first. When you don't get what you want, move on. But I rarely see that happen in this country.

I think people have this perception about what they fantasize about wanting vs what is good and reasonable. They do this in all phases of their life, from sports, music, the cars they drive, the things they drink and eat, blah blah blah. We have all done it. As I get older, I am more down to earth. I don't give a s*** about making everyone else feel better. Even when you try, you usually miss the mark with at least half of everyone. I have realized to only worry about my family and let the chips fall where they may. When the BS gets too thick, I tend to move on.

In sports, I just want my teams to want to win and try their best. I cannot ever root for pro teams in San Diego because all any of them have ever tried to do is sell hot dogs. They are not even trying to win games for the most part. When they do, I start to pay attention but they almost come back to their basis and quit trying to win and simply try to entertain us and sell us hot dogs.

Jeannie Buss wants this team to win, Jimmy wanted to sell hot dogs.

Everyone can't be Kobe or Jordan or Magic or Kareem. I love AD's game, he has to deal with a less than stellar physiology. Just the way it is folks, he is not built like a s*** brickyard like Lebron is, like Karl Malone was, like Wilt was. His body wants him to finesse things, that is the way it is. Problem for him is he has the tools to dominate inside but he knows his body will take a beating so he tries to limit his exposure. I don't blame him, I would do the same thing. He is not a p****, he is just trying to make his money, win some rings and play as long as he can. I think he would rather play for 15 years, win 2 or 3 rings and make all that money, than play 10 years for 2 to 3 rings.

Those numbers are pretty funny in the context of what is usually being posted in this very thread.

there are a few threads on this forum wherein facts are ENTIRELY unwelcome, and this is definitely one of them.

Clearly. It's only natural there is a scapegoat on a sports forum, but AD? Maybe he doesn't roar enough after his dunks? :Kobe Shrug:
