The past few games there were incidents that scared the crap out of me with AD.

Last night when he sprained his thumb, the game against Houston where he tweaked his ankle, and the prior game where he went down grabbing his knee.

Every game whenever his body language reacts the way he does makes me hold my breathe thinking “oh boy is this the injury that keeps him out for 2 months”

 

last night was a classic AD game

20+ pts 10+ rebounds and a trip to the locker room

 

29 pts 18 rebs 5 assists and 2 blocks and AD still finishes as a -14 for the game?

 

Thumb injury definitely affected him last game.. He was dominating the 1st half.

 

Everybody wanted AD at the 5 as the only big on the floor. He puts up great stats in that look, but it will come at a price.

 

i can't speak for everyone, but i wanted him to close halves at the 5, not start them there.

 

I can't argue with that take.

AD is a soft beta and shouldn't call out his teammates for his inadequacy to lead his team to a win against crap opponents. Get inside the paint, fool! and stop shooting fall aways

 

A REAL ALPHA WOULD TUCK THE BALL AND BOWL OVER THE 4 DEFENDERS IN THE PAINT ON HIS PATH TO MANLY GLORY.

 

where did all this alpha/beta stuff come from with regards to AD?

 

What do you have against variety of ways to score and skills? Would you have chosen Kareem for your tag if all he did was dunk or shoot within 4’ of the hoop during his career? It’s not like AD never dunks the ball. He plays the game how it makes him happy to play. Sheesh all you macho guys.

 

The problem is he keep calling out teammates but keep shooting inopportune fall aways.
