i was hoping to see THT make his way as 2/3/4 utility player this year, much like we always wanted from kuz. his jumper was already looking better before the injury, so i think there's reason to believe he can give us a boost when he's back. it will take a while to reintegrate, though. it might be bumpy for the first half of the season with all these injuries complicating the already substantial roster turnover.

This injury might be a blessing in disguise. THT was basically a one handed player the first two years of his career, using only his right hand. He’ll even contort his whole body around the basket just to get to his right hand lol. A couple of months of using his weaker hand is much, much needed!

Am sure he worked on that a lot in the off season as well but yeah this can really cement his skills with that hand.

Hi there, I'm a huge lakers fan from Sydney Australia. My favourites player got traded in the off season. I'm after a new lakers jersey a talen Horton-tucker jersey with sponsor on it. I can get the lakers jersey with Davis and LeBron in Australia but no other players. I'm wondering if someone could please pick me up a talen Horton-tucker jersey. I will be happy to transfer you $$$ for it including postage and handling. I hope this is the correct place to post this in. Please DM me if you are happy to help me out

Seems safe enough with PayPal in advance. Someone should help our Aussie friend out that’s into the Jersey scene. Am not, myself. @showtime24 is a compatriot of yours, @timbsy89 .

So who was your fave that got traded since the Bald Eagle simply signed elsewhere …. Kuzma?

I’m no longer buying any young Laker’s jersey. I had Ball and Russell, both got traded:Laugh:I got Dwight’s jersey, he did not re-sign.

:LLLLLebronlaughing: …. you silly goose. Damn I already forgot about the “old kids” with THT and Reaves here now and coming on quick with FUN games to watch. And those guys were so 2-3 years ago. ;) Bet he has Ingram’s jersey? Kuz’s would have driven him crazy every other game. No wait, he said traded this off season. Has to be Kuz right? Anyone buy a KCP or Trez jersey around here? :giggle:

    Very honestly, why? Just curious.

Mine was Julius Randle. I just love the guy’s heart and the way he manhandles folks on the block and on the break (when it’s not called a charge of course). I love seeing the bodies go flying, lol. I miss him. So glad he has turned into an All Star on the Knicks.

i know. it was brutal. and then all moves surrounding the lebron signing deflated me pretty hard, too. only the AD trade salvaged the wreckage.

I think there is a possibility that Reaves might be the more "valuable" player on this roster than THT.

Reaves is a better shooter, scraps on defense, makes all the right reads most of the time on both ends, etc.

THT is more talented and the better player if we're just looking at them physically. He has a unique profile in that respect.

But for what this team needs right now? I think Reaves holds a lot more value.

    Flame away.

I won’t flame you for that opinion, for what he brings as you said, and with the parameters of this particular season after what we lost on D. Especially if what some of us suspect is true (saw this multiple times from comments on LG too [unanimous in their love over there and that’s rare]) ….. and he is allowed to handle the ball and make plays, while being a threat offensively as THT will be tasked. The guys who aren’t matadors and can also put points on the board will be most valuable. Not at all saying THT is a matador as we haven’t yet had a chance to see the results from his off season work, but doubtful he’s yet at the level of help D and court awareness that 3 years older Reaves is from a complete college career at a major program (the last two at OU).

i need to see THT more settled into a role before i feel comfortable discussing. i do know that he and the other young guard/wings should be taking note of how reaves has gotten his minutes, though.

In the event THT doesn’t fit well upon his return, Rob could always pick up the phone and call Chicago to propose a THT for Caruso trade.

Not only does it save on luxury tax because Caruso makes less than THT, but could you imagine a Caruso/Reaves backcourt?!
