That’s ridiculous defense. I’m kind of genuinely still pissed at Rob and Jeanie and whoever else for being cheap right now.

Caruso is a better fit for this team than Westbrook. Not a better player, but just an overall better fit. I would trade Westbrook for Caruso...and we let the dude walk to save a few million.

When Lebron or AD can't play (which happens often), Russ is waaaaay better.
Come playoffs, I may agree with that take

Yes I agree with this 100% and I LOVE AC and wish we still had him because of what @Savory Griddles says above about fit. That said, speaking of fit, Russ is a fantastic fit because of what you are saying when either or both of LeBron and AD are out. He's truly a dominant player, and last few games he's gotten the message and figured it out that it's better to give up most all of the long shots and be dominant going to the hoop with his strong, athletic and skilled ambidextrous moves ..... and from those paths to the hoop either scoring or dishing it off for great assists. He's an assist machine doing that. GREAT on his lob abilities to our bigs and others. (not counting mistakes as everyone makes em). But never have quite seen a guard explode to his left or Euro step to his left and up at the basket .... off the wrong foot like he does. LOVE that move and replay it most every time. He only gets away with it because he's such an athlete and he's clearly worked on it.
