Yeah's Blatt's a good coach. The media's drooling over Lebron but if it wasn't for Blatt's defensive schemes, they wouldn't even be close. They held the number 1 offensive team to way below their average.
So Blatt just spoke how it was an honor coaching James...that it was not personal...heat of the battle...so on and so forth. The usual standard throw-away lines. I haven't heard anything from The Entitled One. Last seen being consoled by someone named Amy Shumer?
I'm not surprised ... Blatt had some nice team oriented offensive sets when he coached in Europe ... even when Irving and Love played , it was mostly iso ball and the rock in Lebron hands ...
The Cavaliers had one of the best defenses and offenses in the league post all-star break. That does not happen with a terrible coach. He had to adjust to injuries, new players, midseason trades, new league, etc. Media heads were also saying that LeBron couldn't get away with this in Miami because Spo would call out LeBron. He criticized LeBron when necessary, but at the same time, he had the support of Pat Riley and Wade. In this scenario, LeBron has all the power so I'm not exactly sure what Blatt can do.
None of this surprising considering the Summer 2014 articles that stated Lebron wanted to get away from Riley so he could have full control again like he had in Cleveland round 1.
Blatt's a good coach. My only criticism of him was going away from Mozgov in the pivotal game 5 where he went small and only played him for 9 minutes. I thought it was a tactical error. Otherwise he did a nice job defensively and he helped the team to take two victories that they probably shouldn't have gotten along with some great play from the Entitled One. He basically overachieved given his situation. The Entitled One is kind of a jerk I'd say. But I've always thought that.
Jordan's age in his title runs. 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, and 34. I'm not going to knock a 38, 39 year old guy for not winning a chip. James got his at 27, 28. Missed it at 29 and 30. Kobe got his at 21, 22, and 23; then again at 30 and 31. I don't like this, "We would've won it if not for this one freak thing" talk. You win or you lose. That's one question. You can talk about what went right and wrong; that's just a different question.
I haven't hated on LeBron in far too long, so I just whipped these up. Basically the same with slight variations, you choose your preferred version, if either one makes you chuckle.
I got an alert on my phone today saying that LeBron is going to wait to see what the Cavs do in terms of signing other players, before he resigns with the team. Does that mean he could leave Clevland ... again?! Are you kidding me?
He should try joining Dwight and Harden in Houston. They can have fun together. It's all about having fun with your friends, after all.
I doubt it. It's just LeDiva's way of cementing his complete control over the Cav's moves. Get rid of Blatt, get rid of Love, surround him with yes men and and a team full of guys that will do this for his every move:
Yeah he ain't leaving... as long as Gilbert Grape does the King's bidding and gives nice cushy contracts to all his buddies... And Love I suppose to if you must. Seriously Love should just leave. He's clearly not wanted.
I don't wish injury upon anyone, but if Cavs players keep getting hurt (kind of rotating between LBJ, Irving, etc. and just knick knack injuries, nothing too serious) and Gilbert never wins a ring, I will be soooooo happy.
It's kind of a dream of mine actually. The only better torture for Gilbert than never making the playoffs... Is making the Finals just about every year and losing EVERY time... That'd be amazing.
LeBron holding his current team, and by extension the rest of the NBA, hostage in free agency? No way, he'd never do a thing like that, not LeBron, he has no recent history of that at all!
That would mean leaving the East and actually having to compete during the playoffs. The Kang ain't havin none of that.
I don't think the Cavs will ever win a title for these reasons : - Cavs management isn't competent and it's not going to change - Lebron is aging and has 2-3 seasons left as a great player - Lebron the GM , as every other player, isn't reliable ... Mike Miller , J.Jones , JR Smith ... who's next ? Juwan Howard , Carlos Arroyo , Big Z ? - Cleveland isn't Miami so the probability to have a supporting cast as good as (or close) Lebron had with the Heat is incredibly low . Cavs are probably going to overpay T.Thompson during the summer and bring on others overrated or washed up role players
