Vogel is gonna face the hot seat if the team comes out at 5-9. Our team just looks unprepared right now. Its both on the coaching staff and players equally
No slack for having 5 of his rotation players out right now?? During the games when they should all have been learning what the coaches want to try to do this year. Wow.
Heat started 9 & 8. Cavs started 20 and 20 when Bron went back to Cleveland. Westbrook has been a slow starter in both Houston and Washington. I'm hopeful talent will win out some because we have an easy start. But it's going to be a bumpy start, even the players and Vogel are warning us of this in advance. We're not going to be a 70 win team and I don't care too much how we look in December or January. Just as long as we start finding our footing in February and progress from there.
sac beat our starters in a dress rehearsal, so it’s going to be bad early. Not Vogel’s fault, though, IMO.
For point of reference, he played 33.4 MPG last year and that was a career low. And the plan for the other two...
Brilliant use of players today. I loved his Rondo-Westbrook backcourt. I hope I never see that ever again.
0-7 looks very eerily similar to 1-12 Mike Brown before the firing. It was not Jason Kidd but a LeBron favorite which should now worry him.
similar in that he's a defensive coach who's been handed a bunch of guys who aren't particularly interested in defending, too... and we're really complaining about the offense when we scored 114 with 10 missed FTs? i mean, it was bad, but the warriors scored 121 points with curry going 5-21. phx is going to beat us by 30. and it's the defense that's the problem, as it was all preseason.
Yeah. But. If LeBron favorite and LeBron have better ideas for the offense …. speak the f*** up. That’s what everyone’s being paid to do. No way this is all on Frank or that all our skilled guards’ / key players’ injuries didn’t wreck the pre season and learning curve of what the “coaching STAFF” wants to implement on offense.
