Crowder knows how to pull this s*** and make it look accidental.

It didn’t look accidental though! Cranjis detailed what he plainly did. I know you’re speaking as his standard operating procedure. Retaliation here for a totally accidental kick in his nuts. He deserves an intentional one.

Crowder is a fake tough guy and a dirty player. Can’t stand that guy.

i think crowder is actually a real tough guy. but dwight howard is much bigger, as is lebron, and they should be thinking about how many times they can lay wood on mr. tough guy this year.

Getting sharper. Found his way to the line a lot. The D next to Dwight and Baze looked REALLY good in that 2nd Q.

    Oh yeah... and this

    :ADnaughty:

Saw some nice things with he and Baze's 2 man game.

Yeah, we all know what he can do when healthy. Let's just hope it continues like this, because we already have depth issues with Ariza out, THT out and Monk isn't 100% healthy either. But it's awesome to watch AD play when he's on!

He needs to start at the 5 to begin the season.

We can stagger him with the other two bigs...

If we go big, he and Dwight are preferred.

    DJ is insurance.

He looks better than he did last year, amazing what a little rest can do for him. I like that he's getting after it in preseason considering how the rest of the team is treating these 6 games, should continue to translate into a dominant regular season.

I think the bulk that he added will help him score through contact easier. More and-1's opportunities. He's averaging
10 FTs a game in his last two preseason games.

And if 'Do stays in the rotation, AD will get 6 points a night just off lobs from him.

He played like crap yesterday. Bad shot % and -22.
Will watch the game to see why

he missed 3-4 shots he generally makes, and that was the major difference. he was also part of a few defensive miscommunications, and without more knowledge of our schemes, i can't determine whose fault they were (based on his track record, probably not his).

he looked a step slow on d, which was weird.

He went from one of the defensive players I've ever seen in the bubble to Tristan Thompson since the Lakers won. You could make a case that no big was ever able to switch and still be a rim protector like he showed.

I think it's probably a bunch of factors fatigue, getting hurt, and now bulking up in a new scheme. The Lakers need that AD to come back. Honestly hes gone from having a legit argument to be equal or more important then Lebron to just another sidekick. The Westbrook trade was definitely not designed to bring out the best in him IMO

That was a bad game last night. 5-18 shooting? Missed almost half of his FTs? He did not shoot well, but he didn't play D either. What's up with that?

always felt like bosh got unfairly marginalized in miami, and i think that could happen to AD this year. we're not playing to his strengths offensively, mostly in efforts to try and get russ going (miami had to do the same for wade, who's more similar to westbrook than people think, imo).

AD needs situations created for him, and he can thrive in those. we're asking him to just make stuff happen on the occasion that he gets the ball, usually standing on the perimeter looking at a set defense.

There was one awesome 3 quick passes sequence between him and Russ last night where he got it back for the dunk.

I think Russ is actually a perfect fit to AD. Play in open court, transition and easy baskets. AD can outrun pretty much any center.

I think he fails to understand his strengths and sometimes tries to be someone he's not. He's either faster than centers (outrun them in transition or beat them through dribble) or higher/stronger than PF (pound them inside). He rarely does the latter. He almost never gets deep in the post against shorter centers and that is something I never understood.
He likes to receives the ball in the high post and play like a guard posting up. He has the skill to be successful but he could be much better if he played his strengths

yeah, he should get on the low block against guys like barnes, but when we're playing another center, it's just not very efficient to do so.
