    watching some of the mavs/jazz preseason game, and i was right about jared butler--how did he last until #40? injury concerns? pffft...

    this is a quality nba backup pg right now, day one. lots of teams missed on him, imo, and are probably spending a lot more on lesser players who are probably equally likely to miss time.

    i know this is old but...

    philly should really be glad he's stayed away. at this point, i'd show up for camp and just half-a** everything. collect my checks while you lose. i'd refuse to take a shot, since you decided this was my fatal flaw. pass pass pass. i'd still defend, btw, just to prove i can. i'd intentionally drive to the bucket and pass out, maybe to our big, hulking mvp candidate hanging out at the three point line like your false basketball god intended.

    most importantly, i would collect that check. simmons not showing up is going to start looking noble, tbh.

    Looks like money talks and Simmons may be caving here. Philly Fan not happy after all this stuff, look for the boo birds to be all over him if he returns. Did Rich Paul overplay his hand with regard to Ben's best interests, or was it Ben. Or should we even care since eff all of them back there.

    i think people are reading this wrong: they saw morey's "not paying you" and are about to raise it with "you're going to pay me to play at 3/4 capacity until i'm traded".

    no way they can keep it up. he keeps the pressure on the refs as much or moreso than the defense. honestly, when the clip kept rolling, i fully expected him to try to draw a foul again, knowing the refs wouldn't dare let him chuck up two airballs with no FTAs.
