when he's traded, does the escrow account go with him? i've never actually thought about it from an HR perspective, but that makes sense. can the team that trades for him offer to pay his fines, thus making his salary whole?

Harden might want to join Kyrie on the IR this season. Otherwise other teams can run this on loop on the jumbotron
Progress. I'll gladly take a no call over 3 FTs or a 4 point play on these type moves. I hope they stay the course and aren't just trying to deceive the fans during pre-season.
It won't stick. No way. This has happened before. Pre-season, a couple of games into the season and then nothing...
What bothers me is that this is textbook offensive foul but that it even gets called as a defensive foul is stupid. Also that should be a travel
This warms my heart, I really hope it sticks, get that bull**** out of the game. None of these players need to do that to be good, Steph is ridiculously good without that nonsense, the league should never have started letting players get away with, hell, be rewarded for crap like that.
problem is that this is an old problem. they made the reggie miller leg kick rule, and james harden kicks legs. they made the kobe swingthrough rule, and james harden swings through on every drive. for whatever reason, the league has thrown in with harden and folks like him (but mostly harden, tbh). still find it really funny that trae young or luka are the guys the league seems to be blaming for harden's sins. luka's twice the talent and will succeed anyway. trae maybe not. but if harden were called fairly, he wouldn't be a household name.
gms were really bullish on miami's summer and the lowry pickup in particular. i'm a lowry fan, but i wonder if that's being oversold a bit.
the miami heat have a 143 million dollar payroll, and their only credible big is adebayo. 35 year old lowry is their only pg. i just feel like things could go really wrong there. i mean, we and brooklyn are similarly top heavy in that if one of our stars goes down, we're out. but that can be said for pretty much anyone. at least bkn and we have credible reserves to fill in for short-term absences, though. if westbrook misses 10 games, nunn should be able to step in and give us a chance to win games. who steps in if lowry goes out for 10 games? you playing herro or butler at pg? oladipo? if adebayo's out, you going with dedmon and markieff morris for the 48 center minutes? udonis haslem? and maybe they're just counting on the buyout market to save them, and maybe it will. that's gotten ridiculous.
