i think what stands out is that you drop caruso pretty much anywhere, and there's a use for him. he just knows how to play on both ends and maximizes his talents. contrast that with guys who only thrive under very specific circumstances (e.g., need the ball, need to be hidden on defense, can't attack closeouts, etc.) but have flashier skillsets (e.g., better off the dribble iso moves). i'll take the former every time.

This is making me ill. The nagging thought is what if THT maybe never catches up to how good the taller and better shooter and better all around player that Alex is now and possibly further becomes as Alex likely keeps improving? It’s not close right now IMO.

3 appearances in the top 10 plays. A double-double with 10 dimes. Ohh you'll be missed Eagle

Pretty crazy how one instance, everyone loves each other and can't live without the other....2020 title team. Then within a few months, 2021, everyone is like, "Well, they didn't use me, so, suck it"

The "what have you done for me in the last 4 seconds", culture of ours, is eventually going to be instant, without the 4 seconds.

i really think people are misinterpreting that quote? someone asked him about fighting through screens, and my interpretation is that he expressed that it was the lakers' consistent philosophy to do so.

I promise you, THT will end up being a better, more impactful player than Caruso. Promise.

That said, I really wish we had Caruso instead of Ellington on this roster.

i don't think that's a given. but THT obviously has a lot more upside.

Looks like the Bulls with just 2 of our decent ex kids will be the “fun” team that NO failed at being. ZionGod and all.

remember how NO maybe won the AD trade?!

cuz jaxson hayes! or something. well, they let lonzo walk for nothing and are locked into a two-max system with ingram and zion that will yield many consecutive 10th place finishes.

anyway, separate issue. this thread is about cult hero, alex caruso, who can only hope to hold dennis schroder's jock, if and when dennis schroder supplants...peyton..pritchard...?
