Well, that was quick... one day after they win the championship. http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...e-likely-return-golden-state-warriors-sources
Yes. I can see that happening. Lee has good ball IQ and will thrive in the Tri. He really enjoyed his time there too.
I like David Lee a lot. I was shocked that he got so little burn in the playoffs in general, and he helped them quite a bit when they needed it in the Finals. He's a good soldier and didn't pout - he came in strong when he did play. I wish him luck.
Yep...Lee jumpstarted them in the latter stages of Game 3 and contributed some in Game 4. Smart of Kerr to give him time in place of Bogut who surprisingly wasn't as effective. He probably sustained some undisclosed injury during the WCF. Lee was active at both ends which really picked up the Warrior squad. He's one of the good guys in The League and I'm glad he picked up a ring. Same goes for Livingston...
The NY fans love him too, and that's rare. As others said, I think he'd thrive in the triangle. Good passer, active on the boards, selfless teammate.
David Lee is a class act. Very solid player and I agree with you guys he'd thrive in the tri. I've always liked his game. And I remember the look on his face when Kobe came to the line to shoot free throws after tearing his achilles. He was genuinely bummed and he has a lot of respect for Kobe.
always been a fan of lee seems like he was in kerr's doghouse from day 1. could see him going back to NY, i think he definitely still has something left in the tank
Lee's injury at the beginning of the Season made it impossible to get back in the rotation.. The Dubs started off the season on fire... There was no way Kerr was goin to mess with the chemistry at that point.. I don't think it was personal or actually had anything to do with Lee's playing ability either.
