Word on the street, Dave Chappelle's Tyrone Biggums character is based on Patrick Beverly.

Do the Dodgers have a Clippers day? And if so are there still way more Lakers fans in the stands booing whoever tosses the first pitch and everything said on the PA system about the Clippers?

Dodgers don't have enough security to have a "claps" day

    I know a lot of you don’t care, etc…

    but does anyone play 2K?

apparently for NBA2K22 releasing next month, westbrook got an 85 rating. Lol

Who would that be for? Certainly not Dodger fans.

Seriously. I know only one slip fan, and he’s a huge Dodger fan, the hockey Kings too. But he has bemoaned the fact a few times that most Dodger and Kings fans tend to be Laker fans.

He’s really a good guy, just real s***ty taste in basketball teams.

is this out of 99 or something?

How does that compare to prior years? Does he care and will this be motivation for him? I know some guys get all personally offended at that stuff, but I'm not sure Russ is that guy.

should have gone to the nets, where "fit" has no impact on projections.

yeah, i doubt this shows up on his radar. and he's such a competitor that i really don't think he needs extra motivation ever.

I am an Angels fan, been a resident of Anaheim my entire life. We don’t do that, F the Clippers, Anaheim is a Lakers town.

Wow. Weezy's an Angel and Laker fan--just like my Pop. Never knew. Glad you never took the bait when the flips played a bunch of their home games at the Pond in the 90s.

Hell, I think they even drew a lot more fans playing in Anaheim than in LA those years, but don't quote me. On that.

This right here. I grew up in Orange County, I'm an Angel fan and it's solidly Laker territory, has been as far as I can remember.

Yes essentially, it’s out of 100 technically, I believe only Shaq hit this in 2002.

    last 3 seasons, WB’s 2k rating:

    93 (last season w okc)
    90 (first year rockets)
    88 (last season)

so this would be another consecutive year of a lower rating (85).

I’m sure he doesn’t care either. Can’t wait for the season to begin. Please stay healthy everyone!!!

I was stoked when we signed RW and the more I study his game the more excited for the season I become. Watching him play D on points guards and fighting through and around screens is refreshing. I hate watching players hit screens and just stop. Plus he engages the point guard so far out that it gives him the option to go over or under without giving open threes. Vogel is going to love his defense. On offense he attacks so hard he scares people. Going to make everyone better. I think he is a great fit.

i was generally against the third star idea, but getting westbrook at this particular cost was a pretty big win, i think. the risk is high, but the potential reward is pretty incredible. i'm looking forward to watching some games.
