yeah, it was a sensible deal for both sides. washington got two cost-controlled starting-caliber wing players and a scrappy backup on expiring (but whose early bird rights they'll retain in case he does great for them), plus a first rounder (felt like we shouldn't have had to give that up, but whatever). westbrook is better as a 3rd guy here than a second guy there, so that's good for us.

If I ever get another one, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a Russ jersey

I’m starting to warm to the idea of Russ being here. I think he’ll push AD to be more assertive offensively.

    Big of you. ;)

On a phone and tech stoopid this area still so far with my phone, here on LB, as opposed to with my desk top, in how to post an outside gif from Giphy.

Would like to have done Bruce from Die Hard with the classic images and line … welcome to the party pal.

The only downside to Bev leaving the Clippers is that he's going to be less relevant in Memphis (assuming he doesn't get rerouted) and we'll be robbed of this from our hallway series...

You mean someone trying to injure one of our players?

I wish Ezell had gotten traded to Pluto.

i remember being infuriated by bevs back then, and the press just lapping up the nonsense. westbrook went by him like he was rooted whenever he wanted. it was a joke. but because he grabbed and barked a lot, folks who've never played basketball were impressed. he's a clown.

hats off though, i guess. a dude a little bigger than me with very little talent managed to carve out a long career by just play-acting a tough guy. seriously, his claim to fame is going to be injuring westbrook on a dead ball d****** sideswipe. that's it. that's the career.

He shoots the 3 reasonably well (38-40%) and gets in other players heads. He's a dirty player for sure like Matthew Dallevadovah and I don't much care for his style of play but he's not the worst player in the league. Proclaiming the Claps were gonna win chips once they signed PG3 and the Snake and now being traded has a certain comedic value to it lol

Jeebus. The stats alone Dr. Braj rattles off in the first minute alone are nuts:

Pat sometimes changes games, we gotta admit that.
Like the Eagle said "playing hard all times is a skill in NBA". I would say it's a commodity

He's that guy that is hated when he's sgai at you and that you would love if it was in your team.

I see him going to the Nets somehow

Thanks for sharing. Russ gets so much disrespect, I’m hoping he can win a ring here and rewrite his story a bit.

He isn’t a perfect player, but he is damn good. He is one of the better playmakers in the league, one of the best in transition, one of the best rebounders in the league (from the PG position!!) one of the best floor raisers, a good scorer and someone who can be a good defender.

Sure he can’t shoot like Steph Curry, but he should be respected for what he is - a smaller version of Lebron without the all time basketball IQ.

    Yeah, that’s how I always viewed him --- a mini-Lebron.
