Who thinks his next “hold my beer” will be a sit down” with some national outlet claiming the Lakers acted in bad faith from the outset …. and then go for the Ripleys Record one outing, “hold my beer” by doubling down on that with …. both his agents sitting in same interview for effect, claiming “….. and have blackballed Dennis to other teams …. we intend to sue”?
Honestly, Schroeder’s lack of value hurts us. That’s why I said details might not be public until the situation is resolved. No way we want to sabotage him, and the last thing we want is him joining a rival for the minimum or something.
didn't he take up basketball late in part because he preferred skateboarding? feel like i remember reading that back when he was drafted maybe?
If that skateboarding video is recent, I’m sure his agent isn’t happy. If he ends up hurting himself in a freak accident and doesn’t have a contract yet….not the smartest move. Of course neither was turning down 4/84.
LOL yeah on top of everything else that’s what GMs want to see. What’s next …. channeling Nick Young in his last free agent off season, stating that blow should be legalized?
Yes, but Herr Dummkopf still doesn't get it. The gist: "Boston offered taxpayers a one-year contract with Schroeder with an intermediate-level exception of $ 5.9 million. However, Schroder is reported to want a full $ 9.5 million MLE and a second year player option. The C Bags don’t want to be forced to exceed the cap, Schultz reported." Dennis seems to follow a distinct pattern of making moves that aren't the smartest. Seeing the position he is in now with no one available to sign him, he could compound fracture his ankle right now skateboarding...and it would still pale in comparison to how stupid it was to turn down the 4/48.
there is because everyone has their own thought process, im just saying this in regard to Denis situation, teams dont have the cap to give him his "worth" so basically just saying hes worth whats available now
The Lakers are a classy organization which prides itself on taking cae of players and maintaining good relationships even with those who leave. It has been reported they are not even in contact with dennis, he must have screwed up more than just blabbering nonsense about "it has to be fair" after the Lakers had tried to overpay him. He's the symbol of everything that was bad about our team chemistry- and general approach-wise last season and I am sincerely looking forward to see him humiliated like no player before.
He screwed up royally. When the Lakers offer you a MORE than fair contract, on a title contending team, you take it. He was a bad teammate, he caught Covid right during a huge stretch for us, and he crapped the bed in the playoffs, thought he was a starter when he’s really a bench guy. Who wants a player like that? Nobody apparently.
lol, i can't muster samson's antipathy, but i didn't particularly like schroder before he came, and my opinion basically never changed in any direction. he thinks he's better than he is, and it's caused him problems at every stop, pretty much.
