Real estate does go down in value in LA. Just ask anyone during the crash. It’s not happening right now but never say never.

It will eventually contract a bit. This type of sellers market can't last forever.

i wish i could be a fly on the wall inside the schroder haus... what is going through his mind right now? it's just so wild how it all went down (hill)... he sealed his own fate by being toxic in the locker room and by the decisions he and his agent made during FA... this is seriously the biggest blunder of all time.

Over time it’s always been one of the best investments around. But yeah right now this doesn’t seem sustainable to keep going up at this rate. I would expect a slight correction coming but nothing drastic.

Oops took the thread of topic, I’ll try again. If we get a TPE for Dennis, is it enough for us to buy a beach house in Malibu where only Lakerball members can stay for free. :Adlaughing:

Groundhog Day routine for Dennis …. wakes up mad still no contract large as what he wants from whichever team his agent is talking to and wife slaps the top of his head muttering “dummkopf!” whenever she walks by him.

This chump still hasn’t signed with the D-bags yet? No new news for like 3 days? Maybe he’s on his knees begging Rob to S&T him anywhere to try and get a couple M more than whatever he’s been offered? What has he been offered allegedly from them …. TP or regular MLE?

Word on the street is that Nunn was told of having a bigger role so there's that... A shame 'cos Schoeder has his moments prior to his Covid bout. Then the wackiness set in. Covid makes you lose your taste and sense of smell. He's the first case of losing your mind because of it?

    You're a f***ing idiot.

I hope they pull the offer and you're stuck taking the min from a non playoff team.

man, did he do some damage to his rep here! i wonder if we're going to hear some other things once his contract situation is settled. i thought 20 per was a clear overpay, but MLE was underselling him. i wonder if he caused a lot of problems here late in the season and that word got out.

again, can't understand why dallas--a team with two backup pgs and no starter, wouldn't take him into their remaining exception. or one of these teams with an MLE wouldn't take a flier.

but boston, facing basically a pg-less roster, is low-balling him to preserve their trade flexibility. wow.

I suspect there is more too. No one has any interest in him.

I can’t recall a situation playing out this badly for a player.

His story will definitely be a cautionary tale for players when they get a good extension offer.

i wonder if at this point he would be better off just sitting until someone gets desperate/has an injury. he might be able to get more cash and i think we would retain his rights and be able to S&T.

not sure on that last part, but i don't think bird rights just disappear unless we renounce. even if schroder played overseas for a year and came back next year, i feel like we still have the rights, right? amirite?
