Not gonna lie. This eases the pain (a tiny bit) of losing the Eagle. Didn't even consider us getting him. Question, did Miami rescind the QA like a few hours ago or something? Cause that would really suck. A lot of teams probably didn't want to sign him to a tender thinking Miami might match, so did Miami pull that QA after all the money dried up?

Damn, so that looks like they pulled that offer after the money was pretty much gone. Riley did that man dirty.

might be why he went to us. bkn took mills, so he took ours.

i didn't think he'd be available to us. not sure he's a playoff guy, but if westbrook has to sit, what a luxury to bring him in at 1/5 the cost of dennis.

This seems like a damn good signing to me, he’s good, with potential still.

With Mills choosing the Nets and Riley screwing Nunn over we kind of lucked into this move. I prefer him to Mills honestly.

Nunn was a standout rookie with Miami until he fell behind Dragic in their rotation. I agree he did play well against us in The Finals. Has a good outside shoot, has handles and will drive to the cup. He can manage the second unit with Anthony, Horton-Tucker, Ariza, The Porcupine and whoever else.

Yeah. He's gonna have a chip on his shoulder due to Riles, and he's younger, and he's slightly bigger which may allow us to go small with AD/Lebron/Westbrook/Monk/Nunn.

STEAL. Riley being the snake he is actually did us a favor. Nunn lost his spot to Dragic because Dragic is a better traditional PG and floor general. Lucky for us with Bron and Russ, we don't need that nearly as much. Being the secondary ball handler in the lineup, he'll do a lot better. Another legit shooter with athleticism and upside who can play 30 minutes a night, if needed.
