yeah he’s not getting anywhere near that from me if I’m the Lakers now. He’d be a backup to Westbrook where he belongs, and he’d be paid accordingly.

At least sign and trade his a**. There has to be someone who has a decent shooter that needs a point guard suffering from severe delusions of grandeur.

schroder strikes me as the type who would cut off his nose to spite his face (i.e., sign for the minimum with a competitor just to get at us). rob may be playing a dangerous game here if it's true we haven't been talking with him.

I'm open to having him back.

He was always better coming off the bench.

He's under 30 and has some talent.

He can also increase his value and we can potentially use his contract as an asset.

    We shall see.

If we strike out on Mills, I’d rather have Schröder back on a short term deal than having to settle for George Hill as our back-up PG. If he understood his role, he’s better than anyone else we can realistically still get. Plus, it would be nice to have someone under 30 in the rotation.

Rob is supposed to be a great communicator. I don’t buy that they aren’t talking. I can see Dennis’s camp being pissed because they aren’t getting the offers they thought they would though.

This guy has been bad news since the minute he signed here. Too bad because if he had just played his role as a sixth man he could have been a great fit, but his instance on being placed in the starting role and belief that he deserves superstar money just completely soured me on him. If he will cooperate in S and T maybe some good can come out of him, but sounds like even that might not happen.

fool me twice, shame on me, but...

maybe he learned his lesson and will come back on a one-year 15 million dollar deal with a PO for year 2? he'd unquestionably be the backup. and he's more useful than patty mills.

I don’t know. The bad attitude could be awful for the locker room. I’d rather cut bait and go with Mills.

I'm conflicted. He could be a perfect backup PG. I like abeer's idea of a 15 mil 1 year which would be VERY tradeable at the deadline as both a reasonable contract and an expiring. But the attitude...
