I thought he did well all things considered with his knee. He actually shot well: 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting. Booker scorched him but he scorched everyone.

Few role players like him can defend and hit shots in this league .

    He's a keeper .

When we have a healthy starting 5, KCP plays elite perimeter D.... but someone went rogue here

CCWs are important my friends. LA county is a cesspool. 197 CCWs issued to a population of 10 million people.

LA and SF, the two s***tiest cities in America in terms of safety and cleanliness, and they force you to not have them in every capacity imaginable.

Not to get into politics, but I don't see how a CCW helps in this situation where you are ambushed and don't have the element of surprise on your side. So unless you are insanely quick to the draw and posess keen situational awareness, you're probably still going to get robbed.

Let’s remember the no politics rule please. Gun control falls under that umbrella. Thank you.

i'll rescue him from an ignominious pg2 exit.

i'm weirdly attached to kcp. i feel like he came to us when we were crap. yes, it helped him salvage a bad personal financial decision, but it could have happened elsewhere.

he embraced his role here without complaining--starting, off the bench, whatever. at the end of his time here, he definitely outplayed his contracts, and he helped deliver a title both with consistent play and with some timely shotmaking and defensive plays.

i think he'll be harder to replace than most think, and he's always a laker to me.

I’ll miss him and his D greatly. Not so much his streaky shooting.

After his 2020 postseason, I’ll always appreciate KCP. He drove me crazy in the early days and struggled in the playoffs this year, but I have nothing but good things to say about the guy and am grateful he contributed to the title last year.

he was hurt in the playoffs, as was most of the roster. i won't forget him coming through big in 2020 at key times.

we'll miss him chasing pgs, too. he was good at that.

Yeah losing KCP is the biggest blow from this trade right now IMO.

I really wish him well on his next destination whether Washington or Brooklyn.

Going to miss for D. Played the passing lanes very well with Bron. Came up huge in the bubble and we'll miss his 3 ball.

Have to think him leaving means Wes will be back and maybe we bring in former a Laker in Ellington.

Think the hardest part is losing KCP and 22. Losing each individually isn't great, but together? It sucks...but lucky thing the offseason really hasn't even started.

And yet again somehow the Lakers are sending their traded players to situations where they still have room to grow and make more money and not some dump teams.
