Rob and Vogel were hoping for Schroder to have a career season during a contract year. Whatta fail. He's a backup all along.

NY or some other middling squad will throw money at him this summer. He knows it.

The trade for Danny was a good idea but I would have traded him at the deadline .

Price was very high for Lowry but we wouldn't be down 3-2 with him at the point imo .

This m*********** apparently said the Lakers should just burn the tape from this game and move on. Wow, I guess that explains some things. I am pissed to no end right now, and like 99% of my rage is directed at this weakminded piece of crap. Just GO away and never come back.

The worst thing is you could see he was clearly scared of the moment

Whew. That was awful. The moment definitely appeared to be too big for him.

Last night was the last straw for me with this guy. Been a knucklehead since day one. Please leave our team this summer.

THT for maybe 3/4 of a season of lowry? no thanks. toronto tried to exploit us and we didn't bite. i'm glad. we weren't winning this year anyway.

Some people aren't cut out for the bright lights and pressure. He seems to be one of them.

Honestly, you didn't need a career year. If he replicated last year with OKC or either of his final two seasons with the Hawks, he'd be fine. Bigger role, lesser results. It shouldn't work that way. Not sure what motivates him. It's not winning or money.

I don't think we would've done it for a rental with Lowry. Only if he guaranteed he'd reup with us and why wouldn't he?

We just better hope THT doesn't walk this summer cause then we'll really regret this one.

i just think re-upping at his salary is a substantial risk. he's 35. and since everyone's decided AD is glass, don't look up lowry's games played stats. i would have loved him for schroder, but not for THT and schroder.

he only walks if we choose not to match a deal. i'll be surprised if he gets that max poison pill offer, and even if he does, i'll be surprised if we didn't match it.

also, lowry without AD wasn't going to win anything, either.

I wonder whether the Knicks still are willing to pay him. If Rose can still play, all they really need is a backup. Which is what Dennis really is but he thinks he’s a star and wants to be paid like one.

Never would have thought it can get worse than Danny Green.

Less risky than relying on Bron to do everything with no PG help on the way unless Rob can pull a miracle trade or Bron and Klutch can do some strong arming. That's too much heavy lifting and leaves us lost when he's on the bench or out with an injury. I think it'd lighten the load for both of them. I also expect we wouldn't see 10 minute stretches where we can't score ONE single basket because there's a legit leader and floor general out there to orchestrate the offense.

i just don't see how it changes our current situation vis a vis title this year, and it definitely would weaken the future.

nyk has to pay Rose AND Randle, i doubt they'll have $ after those 2 re-up, Randle already turned down 30M/yr extension, with the season he just had i wouldn't be surprised if hes looking for 5yr max now

you think rose will command big money? i think they'll keep him, but not at a huge cost. the real issue is that dennis thinks he's a starter/headliner. i don't think you can have both there.

they dont have to pay big $ to Rose but that is the reason I dont think they'll go after Shroedder, Rose will probably get like a 2-3yr deal at 10-13 per with some sort of partial gurantee or team opt for yr 2 or 3. Shoredder is basically f'd on top of his poor playoff performance

i see rose getting a lakers special (3/40) from ny.

schroder might still get chicago or dallas to bite on a large-ish deal, but nothing even as high as the one he turned down from us, imo.
