Big time confidence booster on the game winner against his hero Derrick Rose. Couple of turnovers in the end but glad they didn't turn out to be costly
Rollercoaster for him. Some bad reads and decisions with the ball. Nearly literally gave the game to them a couple times with TOs. But hit THE 3...
20 years old...the kid is going to be a baller by the time he's 22. He's not a bad option off the bench right now. Great shot!
Like a Tasmanian Devil out there, just lots of ups and downs. Good to see he doesn't get too down on the downs. 7 TOs but makes the game-winning 3.
Yes, too many turnovers. But how about those 10 assists with all three of our top playmakers out, and two threes in OT including the game winner? I'll say it again: AC + THT = backcourt of our future.
I thought THT was out of control for most of the game, but he has a knack for big plays. Right now he seems kind of guard-able, he doesn't always create separation and he often runs into the teeth of the defense. What a shot though. It should go a long way for THT too. If the 3 ball becomes consistent, the defense is more honest, and THT can play more of a natural playmaker rather than scorer.
Some boneheaded plays down the stretch, but ultimately hit some ENORMOUS shots too! The kid has guts. He is the "It" factor. He just needs more experience. It's awesome that he's getting some with knucklehead DS out. I mirror what TIME said, keep AC Fresh and THT - that's our PG rotation going forward and it's a great one.
Great talent, no question. But right now, he only has two gears - 5th and 6th, with a bit of a reverse thrown in, LOL. Some of his plays really look like this: That needs to change next year.... learn how to play smart ball, control the tempo, take care of the ball. Once he learns that, we're in business.
