Exhibit A for my little get off my lawn peeve a few minutes ago about THT and so many other shooters today who could not get that shot off with no jump in their shooting motion.
One of the worst games I've ever seen him play. That bogus foul right after the opening tip pretty much made him play catch up all night. He was never really in the scheme of things
Hope he's alright that looked like a bad fall but he was able to walk away on his own. KCP just passed Eddie Jones for 5th all time in Lakers history for 3 pointers made
KCP being 5th all time on the Lakers in 3 pointers, and the Kuzma being 7th, all speaks to how the game has changed. it's odd either of those guys are on any top 10 Laker list No hate, just reality
Nice to see KC3 cook this month. He was lighting the net on fire from the left side in the first half. Hopefully he's OK to go in the rematch. I don't think the cramp is serious, but he's compounding injuries right now with that and the recent back spasms.
Thank you Frank Vogel for being you and a “players’ coach”. Sticking with KCP last year and not giving up on him in the face of Lakers Nation coming with torches and pitchforks for him. And this year empowering him by telling him to be more aggressive. As a result he has taken his game to a higher level on offense and is still building on how good he’s going to be in his absolute prime. Driving to the hoop and starting to finish there decently to well adds another dimension to his 3 and D capabilities and speed on the court.
He was just on fire last night. Bummer we couldn’t get the win but KCP did everything he could to try.
29 points on effective shooting and over 5 3s made now 3 consecutive games and a 25 point game several days ago. KCP has reached a new top level with his game when he is on and asked to do more offensively when we’re missing key players. Guessing that it doesn’t suck having Phil Handy on the coaching staff and on the bench.
I'm not sure how it's even possible to start the season so well, then play poorly and be practically invisible, then suddenly dominate as a scorer like this. He's an interesting player, for sure.
I really feel like he is the streakiest shooting Laker starter I’ve ever seen. For better or worse. I’ll live with it as he helped us get that championship last year. Hopefully he can stay hot in the playoffs this year as well. I can live with the ups and downs during the regular season.
at least he getting hot again, all u can ask for but if right player available im trading kcp, cant have someone so streaky like this
You mean like when he wasn’t in the playoffs when it mattered and played a big role amongst our role players with his particular physical assets and helped us win a ring. Everyone goes through periods except Lebron on this team most of the time. He’s growing as a player and is very valuable at his money. But you can go ahead and have the last word.
His streaks just seem to be soooooo long, but that applies also to the good ones. Last season he was super dependable for most of the season (after a horrific start) and then a crucial part of the championship run. He seems to be getting into the groove at the right time.
mgmt supposedly offered him up for lowry...no need to get all emotional bout it, if theres someone better available and kcp needs to be involved you wouldn't do it?
