Rose for the min-ish. If 2 piece S&T can net him an extra million or two, I'm sure that'd interest him.
preferably a stopgap vet pg, but honestly, if we can manage to create a usable trade exception, that can work, too. really, anything that's not air is a bonus. yeah, even getting rose 2 years/20 million in return for schroder would make good sense, imo. i think there will have to be some ScRaMblINg to make things work financially this summer in any case. the timing of various deals might matter, for example.
I like the Devonte Graham idea if he can be had for around 6-8M a yr, hes having a down yr but all he does is shoot 3s (60-70% of his attempts are 3's). If thats all we need from a pg ala Kerr/Paxson type
His contract offer seems to be shrinking day by day. lakers aren't going to lose AC and THT to keep him.
Was at the game tonight. He found Marc Gasol and others for a handful of nice assists but other than that lifeless His advantage supposedly is superior speed but we rarely see that. He does a lot of sneaky change of speed stuff in the half court but what good is it if he doesn't have a reliable jumper?
How did you pull that off .... was it like a lotto situation? I thought I heard in the car yesterday something about the air filtering/evac system being upgraded did it perhaps feel any different with drafty airflow or anything else you might have noticed?
I wouldn't be surprised if he's hurt. He had that bad foul on his tailbone a few games ago but is there reporting on this - I haven't seen any news reports about a foot infection
i've fallen hard on the tailbone in a game before, and it limited my mobility for a couple weeks, i think.
This was his best game of the year. He took a dumb 3 at the end of regulation with defenders on him and time left on the shot clock. Outside of that he had a fantastic overall game. Nice lockdown D on Clarkson at some points too. On a side note, Clarkson is comparable to Schroder. I don't think JC is as good as a defender or passer but when it comes to skillset he's right there. JC is getting paid $51.5 mil over the next 4 years. What a steal.
