D over the last 7 games.

Considering the injuries, ejections, and suspension that's f***ing amazing.

Shame he'll get no love for COY when he's the best defense coach in the NBA today.

    Thanks Lue.

Every player on the Lakers played well even with all the injuries and ejections. Lakers have been losing some games but Frank deserves a ton of credit for getting these guys ready to play even when they are outmatched. How he has coached this team without AD and Bron shows just how good of a coach Frank is... Literally every player on the roster knows their role and sticks to it.

We have the #1 defense in the league still, right? Been missing AD for a long time now and maintaining that? Crazy. Frank is a damn good coach, even if not creative offensively, he’s the first Laker coach that I’m rarely ever cursing during games. I often don’t even think about his lineups or what we’re doing out there, and he clearly can motivate a team, the guys seem to like playing for him.

Since Bron has been out, Lakers have the #2 defense in the league in that span but still the #1 defensive team in the league. Frank certainly deserves a ton of credit for being a defensive genius. Our offense has been poop but it's expected when you lose both your superstar players. The defense still being as good shows how dialed in the Lakers are.

How many coaches have we had who all “talked” defense but their results compared to even our roll players on Frank’s teams were inferior.

He's easily the best we've had since Phil. I hope he's a lifer. He's only 47, so he could easily spend two decades with us if he wants.

Currently the only active coaches who have been with their team for 10+ years: Pop, Spo, and Carlisle.

Yeah, this is one of my first real complaints with him. Marc stepped in when Drummond got hurt and played very well, I don’t like how Vogel is handling the situation at all. I know it has to be tricky managing minutes, but when we are missing players like right now there are minutes to go around, I do not see why he isn’t the immediate backup 5 next to Trez.

The Gasol situation last night was tricky.

Here's how I saw it... the floor opened up because you can have Marc operate at the top of the key and the 3 point line and the D has to respect it. BUT Drummond draws so much focus and attention of the defense (Nets had all 5 on him in the pic from his thread 2 nights ago) that he gets the shooters open looks. No one is going to double or triple Marc.

Frank should give some players ( Dennis , Trez , KCP, Carushow) one game off .

Saturday afternoon against Utah should be the one

Great to have a coach and staff that are capable of changing it up at halftime. Too many coaches are married to their pregame plan. Frank even said during his in game interview the Jazz threw some lineups at them we weren't expecting so we had to adjust.
