I see the value of DS helping with ball handling duties and relieving Lebron but he presents a bigger problem as he's not a reliable catch and shoot player. From watching Bron all these years we have seen him thrive when there's spacing on the floor with good catch and shoot type players who can make a respectable clip KCP this year is 40% on 3s overall . 42% on Catch and shoot 3s. 2019/2020 39% on Catch and shoot 3s. 2020 playoffs 41% on Catch and shoot 3s. He's low usage guy who plays his role very well next to AD/Bron. Schroder this year is 31.5% 3s overall 32% on Catch and shoot 3s. I was excited about Schroder because even he had very good catch and shoot numbers last year in regular season and playoffs but his shooting efficiency has dropped. He has found it difficult playing 3rd fiddle behind Lebron and AD. With AD gone a while, I haven't seen him improve his shooting numbers either. It's not an easy decision because Schroder fights hard out there but his lack of shooting is gonna open up a ton of spacing problems for Lebron and AD.
KCP shot 30% from three in the NBA Finals... he had a couple of good games but let's not act like this dude turned into Curry or something.
40% 1st round, 47% 2nd round, 39% 3rd round....Finals he was at 30% but he offered the floor spacing threat for Lebron/AD to work. Heck even as lousy as Green was, defenses needed to be honest and contest his shots. Our team needs floor spacers like KCP
Both KCP and Kuzma are tied for 7th All time in Franchise history for 3's made. They will probably pass ahead of Eddie Jones for 5th place before the year is over https://www.landofbasketball.com/all_time_leaders/lakers/3_pts_total_career_rs.htm
30 minutes , 4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists... Gotta be A LOT better than that if you get $13 million per year...
4 reb/4asst is more than you could ask of kcp but his scoring/shooting is becoming way to streaky for this team
Behave yourself. Talking bleep today too Nets and Lakers prob both get injuries and someone else in the Finals. Wut?
Very small sample size, but KCP is shooting 54% from deep on 7 attempts a game in the 4 games this month. Hopefully he's gearing up for the playoffs.
I can’t imagine how many 3’s Nick Van Exel would chuck if he played in today’s game. He’d probably rival Steph Curry in attempts.
