It’s been a rough few weeks but here’s some perspective. The following Western conference teams are all 5-5 in the last 10 games, Jazz, Lakers, Portland and San Antonio. The Clippers are 4-6. GSW and Memphis are out of the playoffs right now but not by much. They are both 5-5 also.
Saw this headline just now and at first thought it was great news, that the reporting of the extent of his injuries was pre-mature. But no such luck. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/no-shawn-bradley-wasn-t-172400732.html
Cutee alert. That smile and look was great. She wasn’t offended .... was flattered. Yeah definitely all smooth and s**t!

sounds like there's some stress being the star, playing heavy minutes, representing your franchise, etc. but it's also sorta a back handed slap
wade had a pretty charmed career, imo. he got to pretend to be "disrespected" as a #5 overall pick in a historic draft (this isn't hindsight, either--everybody knew it--yeah, they took lebron over you because they weren't f***ing idiots). he got a ton of credit for a plucky team that overperformed equally if not mostly on the back of lamar odom, caron butler, and brian grant (and svg being a good coach for that era). then those three guys get traded for shaq at the tail end of his prime. again, shaq was a legit mvp candidate the year he was traded to miami. everyone forgets because he fell off the map almost immediately after that, but he was their best player. but stern couldn't have cuban get a title, so wade shot a gazillion fts in the most rigged nba series i've ever seen in my basketball-watching life (which is getting long now). then shaq fell off and we saw what a wade-led team did: finish at the bottom of the playoff picture in a historically weak east (he'd have finished 12th in the west over and over, btw--part of my annoyance with the AD-is-a-#2 crowd). it's ok, though, because his buddy--and probably legit GOAT--joined HIM in miami, being nice enough to make it seem like equal billing when it was really: lebron wade/bosh haslem/other guys and then they lost until they figured out that lebron was the real star, then won two titles, then lebron left and wade's team sucked again. so...get my man clarkson's name out of your mouth. pretty much nobody had it easier than you.
