You’re also saying salary is the singular most important thing to you (Alex) completely leaving out the team / coaching / chances for rings .... assuming maybe a not greatly significant amount of money more elsewhere on a team with less in those categories. And as @SamsonMiodek stated of course the opportunities for off the court money in L.A.
Staying in a great situation like the Lakers could also payoff financially in the long run. If he takes the money in a different situation and doesn’t live up to the contract, he’ll be worth a lot less for the following contract. Stay in LA for a fair amount, continue killing it under the bright lights, and get another good pay day in a handful of years.
Yea, but the problem is that he hasn't made much money and still isn't making much money (obviously relative to NBA standards). And you only have a finite number of years to maximize your earning potential as a role player. At the same time, this could all be moot because I think the Lakers will get it done and give him what he is expecting, but I wouldn't blame him if some random team out of left field offers him a lot more and he bounces.

I thought the “raise your “”ball”” game” quote in his commercial was pretty funny considering it was from manscaping.com haha
AC for real is starting to look like that photoshopped upper body a year ago that got him drug tested. Had to sit out some games with the concussion protocol so he hit the weights? LOL that’s awesome. :Carusoshaka:
