Had two slams (a third if he didn't lose a grip), a pair of treys, sticky defense on Lillard (with help on the blitz of course). Jefferson said "the sneaky hops" is not a secret anymore.
That 2nd half with AC in there turned the game around. Him/Bron on the court are still incredible together
:Carusohearthands: Look at the elevation on the replay of that chase down block after Lebron slipped and then the turnover!
actually did a lot of what draymond does for them, imo. when they hesitated on him, he drove right at them and forced a reaction. just smart ball, as always.
It occured to me recently that Cuban could like the idea of pairing him with Luka, you know - since he's working so great with Bron. Can't get it out of my mind for some reason. I'm worried we can't really afford the kind of money he deserves. Hopefully the amount he makes from commercials due to being a Laker makes it worth for him to stay for less.
I agree with the general idea, but the question is how much more can he earn from commercials etc. as a Laker compared to, say, a Hawk. He's extremely popular now as a cheap but very effective Laker roleplayer, will he remain that as a player on a much higher contract, in a (possibly significantly) less attractive location? I doubt that and I assume he and his agent know that as well. I want him to earn his due, I can't overstate how much I like him as a player. But maybe he could sacrifice some of his market value for the Lakers and still earn more by staying here.
