He’s really putting it all together. That block on Porter Jr? Wow! Boards, blocks and threes. That’ll work.

A taller version of Klay Thompson is what Kuzma should aim to be. Off-ball type of player who crashes rebounds, plays defense, and does the little things for the team that add up to a whole lot of value.

He is a very good role player right now. He's slowly figuring it out that just by his hustle and energy he can impact the game in a lot of areas

This is the version of Kuzma I like. He’s carving out a nice niche for himself on this team. Becoming a 6’9/6’10 version of Caruso. And that’s 100% a compliment.

Does that mean LeBron is a 6'8 version of Caruso?

Just don't pair him with Matthews: those two together was the bizarro world version of AD/Lebron. Nothing good happened with them together.

hustling up, and he's up to 39% from three on the year.

Yeah, this is Kuzma we want to see. Not the skinny kid who plays no D, has no court awareness, but likes to chuck shots and score 25 inefficiently. I know this version of Kuz does not necessarily look very flashy, but he's now a MUCH better basketball player and earning a nice paycheck as a result.

Expecting Bron to sit tomorrow against OKC. I know he wants MVP and to play 70 games at his age to make an even stronger argument, but....too many minutes last night.

Typically Kuz starts for Bron or AD. Would rather Kuz stay with the Trez and THT and Alex minutes.

Let Wes start with KCP, Dennis, AD, and Gasol. Plays made through Dennis and Gasol, with KCP and Wes shooting 3s often and AD doing his typical mid-range...

We beat OKC on the road without AD and Bron last year with a hustling team that had tons of movement off the ball. Want to see real motion offense tomorrow for stretches. Kidd’s work with Dennis - time to see it. Dennis has been a legit third star and this is his return home to “show it” game.

I approve of this message. Not that you needed it. :D It would be great indeed for both Dennis and Wes.

    Doubt LeBron will though honestly.

Another excellent game from Kuz. Once again, he’s really showing growth this year.

Anyone else notice his shot from 3 looks so good this year? I can’t really describe it; it looks so pure, like it has the same angle and rotation as other pure shooters. Impressive improvement over such a short off-season.

And not “lazy” like a lot of modern shooters. Puts the jump back in the J with good elevation to go with his height.

Yeah, it has become a thing of beauty to watch. I can't remember where I saw it, but it was reported he has been focusing on improving not only his threes, but his overall shooting mechanics pretty soon after the Finals.

That kid has grown so much, and his game has followed on O and D.

He missed a lot of open looks. I think the 1/9 actually understates how bad he shot it as most of the looks there was no one near him

That being said he's still hustling on defense and the glass. Feels he's due for a monster stretch at some point as he's doing a lot of the little things but they haven't fully come together for one those woah type of games yet

He played with a lot of good energy though and I liked his game. Just sucked from 3 but so did everyone other than Wes Jr.

Kuz played so hard, but the shots just would not fall. At least he never gave up on that three, shot it with confidence.
