    https://clutchpoints.com/warriors-news-draymond-green-throws-shade-at-out-of-shape-nba-star/

“I won’t throw anybody under the bus, but I’m talking about one superstar particularly who I’ve never seen him out of shape. He’s so out of shape right now. It’s not Luka (Doncic) or James Harden but I’ve never seen this guy out of shape and actually when we played, he was like ‘man, the bubble’ like sh*t’s been hard and I completely understand that. It’s brutal. This season has been extremely tough. An NBA day normally is like maybe four to six hours; every day right now is like 10 to 12 hours.”

He seems to be referring to AD if you ask me. It explains why AD is so bulky out there. He looks slower and less explosive. Granted, his bulkiness should theoretically help him in terms of durability but he's his best when he's beating centers and big men off the dribble and then completely destroying smaller players when they try a mismatch. AD is playing the furthest away from the rim in his entire career right now. I mean, c'mon dude, if Alex Caruso can wake up while getting paid $2.5 million dollars plus have more energy than someone getting paid $35 million this season, AD should have at least gotten back into shape already. You're a professional athlete and your entire presence in the court is to stay healthy and ready. No excuses for AD... He's the only one on the team who I think has taken a step back as compared to last season. And before people say he is coasting, sure, a bit of that may come into play especially since he now realizes the regular season doesn't mean as much but his FT% shooting has been horrific for his standards. A total 16% drop in FT shooting just shows a lack of focus out there.

Dagger to my stomach AD got FAT?

He had an "adductor" muscle issue early on this season. Had to look that up at the time. Attaching in the groin area which itself when injured is really nagging and slow to heal. Maybe situation with this muscle playing into this in similar fashion?

    images of adductor muscle

Free throws is something else though and might support your observation.

Will be fun to come back in this thread five months from now ...

Opponents do realize they have no chance against this team when AD is back to his usual self right ?

Fouled out in the shortest time in NBA game history...

On the subject. Davis will assert himself come near the end of the season and in the playoffs. With Harrell, Shroeder, Caruso and Horton Tucker chipping in points as a group, he can afford to coast a bit. Even Caruso is contributing with more time. Then there's Kuzma the Fashionista...

so what I'm hearing is he's a Beta star, not an alpha. Hope Rob has his eyes on who his next Alpha is, because it very well may not be AD.

There's a chance THT may develop into some upper level of alpha star type player with how fast his progress is coming along and how good he is already with that crazy body of his and fearlessness. He told Trudell his goal is to be "great". 2-3 years from now look the hell out. By the end of this season and certainly next season with his speed of progression and skills already ...... woooooh Baby!

His defense hasn't looked the same. In the playoffs he put the fear of Dikembe on anyone driving into the paint.
Detroit actually went right him and got layups when the Lakers seemed to correctly funnel the guy into AD

By the way , Draymond talks way too much for a guy averaging 4.8 pts on 34% from the field
