Man I had so much confidence that Caruso was going to pull out that stop and we'd win the game. Tobias just hit a good shot. Caruso's defense was still solid though. And that's pretty damn cool that we can have our back-up PG switch onto the opposing team's best perimeter wing player on a final possession, and not really miss a beat defensively. I expect AC will be a staple in our closing lineups.

^My thoughts exactly... Good defense, better offense as they say.

He left the game with 5 minutes to go and Lakers down by 1. They lost the game by 15 lol.

Saying he's a key player for the Lakers is an understatement

Oh so close to a game sealing steal but Brown managed to get it...

Would be nice for the Lakers to have another big wing defender so poor Caruso is not going against the Tatums and Harris's of the world. The dude is an elite defender but he's giving up so much height and weight against these guys

It was still the game winning defensive play though. He disrupted it enough to buy time for a few more Lakers to get down the floor in defensive position. Went from a fast break opportunity to them having to pull out and have Kemba try to create something. Bought a little bit of time that allowed Montrezl to get a better box out on Theis’ putback attempt.

AC seems to almost always make the best play. The guy is amazing.

I love this guy as always. Good things happen when he’s on the floor.

He saved the game for us with that play on Brown at the end. Also smart of him not force the issue and get a foul call in the scrum there.

We went from a 1 point deficit to a 10 point lead in a matter of 3 minutes having Caruso start the 4th. Big time difference maker tonight

On defense certainly and with advantages in numerous areas with his offense, confidence, shooting and durability / availability.

THT and AC can never leave. Those two are the perfect glue to a title team.

He's invaluable. He needs to be a part of this team for a long time. A championship caliber team has to have players like Caruso - willing to do the dirty work and all of the little things that sometimes go unnoticed but are essential for the team to succeed.

I wanted to see the Eagle have a shot at Lonzo again when we played the Pels. But Lonzo ducks AC now like he used to Fox ever since AC stuffed his shot a year or more back a foot over the rim dropping Zo flat on his back from up there and damn near killing him.
