AD had a bad offensive night (not because of drummond), and stuffed drummond in isolation on defense repeatedly. i actually thought the cavs were dumb to keep testing him when it was failing. drummond got his buckets other ways. he actually scored on AD like, twice and was pretty embarrassingly swatted at least 3 times. like: gym laughing at you swatted.

i think AD did a decent job on drummond. the latter did most of his damage when gasol or harrell was on him

I don't mind having one of our star players taking it easy and resting here and there while our other star carries the load, but shouldn't it be AD playing hard so that LeBron can coast and get his body ready for the playoffs? I really don't like seeing LeBron have to do everything out there just to beat a crummy Cavs team.

Cavs aren't that crummy this year - they just beat the Nets twice in a row and are having quite a break out with Collin Sexton.

But yeah, I do wish it were AD carrying Lebron but it doesn't appear to be that way. AD seems to have some lingering health issues so far and he hasn't totally gotten into his groove. It's ok though. Lebron is still playing the least minutes he's ever played and doing so at an MVP level all the while. I don't think he's overdoing it. A lot of what he's doing is saving his body by shooting an all time high percentage from three. I still feel like he's getting a ton of contact that isn't called when he drives and that is due to the obvious Lakers tax from the refs. But otherwise, since Schroder is carrying much of the PG duties I think Lebron is not overworking himself. I mean shooting 19 for 26 is pretty damned efficient.

Yeah, AD keeps having the occasional bad shooting night this season, but last night he had another 3 block and 3 steal defensive outing.

AD carried in Chicago. Lebron carried in Cleveland. Also, Lebron wants the MVP and Kareem's scoring record.

I hope, no - actually I expect AD to teach Embiid a painful lesson tonight. Hopefully this post ages well lol.

What happened to his entire offense?

Side note: it's stretches of games like these that make me pause thinking of AD as #1 option.

he's been frustrating to watch but like i said, i won't start worrying unless he's still playing this poorly in the playoffs

the FT shooting is worrisome though. not sure what's going on there

I feel like AD hasn't healed fully. And he's paying with minor injuries. Also the ft issues are definitely in his head

AD wants to/ is playing with injuries cause Lebron leads by example by playing all the games despite his mileage.

    Someone said it last season

Good. Let him get right for Saturday. We shouldn't need him against Detroit.

AD's been playing hurt, for sure. not sure why they didn't sit him and lebron against philly, popovich style, tbh.

sitting him and/or lebron against det and you're giving up a likely win.
