Still wonder how Giannis won DPOY over Davis. He can check all positions 1-5. Even hits his free throws usually.

Offensively it's like AD is kind of sleep walking right now. But it doesn't matter. He's that good. Magnificent D tonight especially when he took the assignment at halftime and clamped down on BI for the second half. Some beautiful blocks on Zion Train as well.

Surprising tidbit about The Big Fundamental here...

News: Davis rips teammates about D (including James)...throws water cooler...voila! No. 1 defensive team in The League.

All due respect to Tim Duncan, he was never as versatile as Anthony Davis. I have no idea what the hell those idiot writers were watching last year but I doubt they make that mistake this year. Anthony Davis had his 5th? I think, 3 block, 3 steal game this year? Unless these idiots really do not want to give any Laker a award, Anthony Davis should have DOPY wrapped up this time. Lebron is the best record in the NBA away from probably getting his 5th MVP if this momentum continues.

man, lebron defying most logic to sign here was just absolutely crucial to the survival of the franchise. no idea what would be happening right now otherwise. probably magic trading THT for wayne ellington or something as we get smashed by sacramento on a wednesday and scout high schoolers.

As funny as that sounds, it might have happened. Then again, Magic did one thing right while the boss, and that's close Lebron James to LA. So, in the end, he did his job.

17 boards was insane. Just wish he shot better tonight. He and Lebron were off.

Scoring wasn't there and his interest wavered, but he was involved in every facet from the tip. With how the 1st Q went, I don't know how he didn't fall into a triple double by accident. One of his most cerebral games as a Laker in that ugly mess of a game.

Hold up, Lebron left AD's text on read and didn't mention it until after the game, letting AD stew in that awkwardness? Terrible leadership, ship him out!

I don't know if it's an injury, new players settling in, or just him coasting but I'd love to see the AD who would go 40/20 here and there. Seems like he has completely moved away from the post. Rarely see him dunk or go for a lob anymore. His FT% is also taking a huge hit. He's still playing great but would love to see him take his game to a new level as well.

eh, he's still not attacking the rim from the mid-post, which tells me he's playing hurt. and we beat the bucks, so he probably did some things right.

AD’s just taking it easy during the regular season so Lebron can win MVP

AD could still learn and improve?! At age 27?! I don’t know, I’m doubtful
