jsm beat me to it, but marc existed first. the main difference between the two is that jokic has that floater game and is young enough to give you a solid 30-35mpg without breaking down. we basically have a jokic for stretches of games, though.

also: newsflash but mcgee and dwight really aren't very athletic anymore? if they were, we probably could have played them more in the playoffs. we played dwight against denver because he's strong, not because he's fast. all teams kill those guys in the P&R, too.

what we lost were lob threats there, but we sorta have one of the most feared lob threats like, ever, playing pf for us.

See, Marc still has some game left. Smooth 3-point shot too!

I hope LeBron realizes that in order for him and Gasol to work, Bron has got to be more of a decoy and play better off-ball. When LeBron is standing around watching, that's one less player Gasol can pass to. LeBron needs to be more active without the ball and go for cuts for the easy baskets.

Quoting this for emphasis. Only one player in NBA history has done this and it was Washed Marc. Last night.

Marc is a point center. Loved the assists to cutters like Bron, Kuz and KCP last night. Too bad THT doesn't get many minutes on the floor with Marc. Young fella needs to learn how to move off the ball and Marc would be nice to help him develop that part of the floor game

That was like the whole Clippers game. Pretty much 4 absolutely garbage foul calls.

if that's a defensive foul, i was fouled on every layup attempt in my playing career.

basically the same play happened last night, and more competent officials didn't call a foul.

He gets slower every game. And the behind the back passing needs to stop. His own body is too wide.

Maybe he paces too over course of season with how fast he drags his old big a** around? You guys want 90-100% from the older dudes this early in the year while Vogel’s still experimenting with lineups even?

No, I'm totally fine with him pacing himself. We don't rely on his offense at all. Just move the ball and play some smart positional defense in limited minutes. I'd rather have him ready to go in the playoffs.
