I broke it down a month ago - said he deserves more money (get that out of his head) will figure more out this year, and will have many good nights when Bron and AD sit. My prediction was then - and is now - that his biggest statistical improvement will be his assists this year (I said from 1 to about 3 per game)- esp with Trez and Ad, as well as Wes and Dennis shooting. I also think he learned quite a bit during that short stint with Pop and Kerr. There of course will be consistency issues - because his role will also be inconsistent. I see a range of volatility though that we will accept (not huge peaks and valleys). Like AD, Dennis, and Trez - all will be inconsistent, within a range, have their nights going off (AD more expected, obviously) during this weird baseball-like season and the strategies used to exploit mismatches. Bron is the only constant. All teams want to beat us. We have a lot to get through this season. Candace Parker said it - amazing job by Rob the help AD and Bron. Dennis, Alex KCP, THT Kuz AD, Cacok Trez Amazing future (though I don’t see how we keep Trez if we extend Dennis). Clippers - Fitty! Ha ha ha
Go ahead .... with those blocks and assists mixed in with him being red hot .... he probably was. His confidence with his J is sky high now just like the great elevation he gets off of it and the release point.
Kuz making those extra passes is something I didn't expect. He's giving up shots that he would normally force or take selfishly to get others involved. That outlet pass from LeBron to Kuz where Kuz could have just dunked it but made the pass to KCP doesn't change anything because the Lakers still get two points but those are plays that will help develop Kuz's game because he won't have to rely on always himself being a scorer. If he starts in LeBron's place tonight and does well once again, Frank is going to have to think about increasing Kuz's role as a playmaker on the team.
He was due for a stinker. 22 mins, 6 points, 0 rebs. Get a bad game out of the way before the roadtrip
Went back to his old self quickly .. Bricked 3 wide open threes in a row off Bron passes . Got to try something else after the 1st 2
he had a lot of open looks and just couldnt knock em down. nothing good i can really say other than he remained engaged in other facets of the game get em next time kuz!
