With all the talk about his arms, am I the only one (despite knowing what he looks like) that pictures his arms being like 5 feet long each in their mind's eye?

I thought the span of each wing was 71 inches.

You know what they say about people with long arms, right? It's impossible to find them sweaters.

What's great about that is how many other teams have an 11th man you have to prep against?

I don't know what more there is to say about that performance than what's been said. He killed it! He's exciting to watch. Bron might be his biggest fan and that's a fun in game storyline in itself. He could do little wrong and if nothing else, he's the Clipper Killer.

Loved watching him rip Kawhi. He had two plays where he made a great defensive play and got rewarded on the offensive end. His hustle and attention to detail in this one was impressive. How often does a guy miss a FT, hustle it down and throw the ball of a defender?

Can't wait to see him continue to sponge up knowledge from Handy, Pen, Kidd, and Bron. I think he's probably best suited as a PG who can switch anywhere on the perimiter from 1-3. But he's so early, he can really be molded for whatever we want.

That length is special. On D, he can really disrupt the passing lanes. And on offensive, it gives him a great advantage around the rim when mixed with his natural driving ability and body control. That said, I think he can still really improve on those drives, some still look a little erratic at times. But at 20, doing what he's doing. Can't complain.

We alvays overhype our young players. I still remember Morris, Gaudelock, Henry etc. dubbed as future cornerstones.
Im a THT fan, dont get me wrong. Kid is a baller.

Attach his body mass, strength, mobility, those arms and Handy enhanced skill set (just 1 year) on display that last game .... to “Kid is a baller”. Hype is real. We hyped the hell out of BI too but he was a twig needing years to build up his body.

Haha, 2 preseason games and all of a sudden its "THT is a free agent next year". Ah, Lakers fans. You are too funny.

However, its better than hearing the Lakers blew the Dwight Howard and Boogie signings at least.

If I remember it right, he only had one season in college and he was injured that season.

    EDIT:

Just read this in Kevin O'Conner's Ringer article:

"Every scout and executive knew Horton-Tucker had skills when he entered the draft. It’s just that his flaws were severe. He jacked up unwarranted jumpers, didn’t shoot well, and was an erratic decision-maker who didn’t make up for it on defense. To make matters worse, he had a stress reaction in his foot that derailed his predraft workouts and caused him to fall out of shape. Horton-Tucker was a theoretical two-way presence in a draft littered with safer bets, but the Lakers were willing to take the risk in the middle of the second round and he’s already changed the habits that scared off other teams."

Nice write up by O'Conner. Glad we can pencil him in as a first ballot Hall of Famer this early in his career. That should take some pressure off of him.
