LeBron, cryptically: "I've got extra motivation that I won't talk about right now."

What could that be? Draymond Green's tweets from a few years ago?

If LeBron is able to pull this off, it would certainly be remarkable. What can you say? He's playing without Irving and Love, no homecourt advantage. It would be pretty spectacular.

I don't think it'll happen, but this puts a little bit of pressure on the Warriors. How can you let the Cavs win when they shot 32%?! They have to crash the boards better. Even on the stuff on LeBron by Green they couldn't take possession. A ton of missed opportunities.

I HATE the fact that people are actually gonna talk about Dellavedova now too. Come on Steph!

Haven't read through everything posted here yet but man I'm glad I watched the game at a bar cause I bet the commentary was disgusting.

So many bad calls made and so many bad no calls.
Curry had his worst game all season and Cavs barely won.
Curry needs to get his stuff together, he's getting checked by a scrub.

I have a bad feeling the refs are going to be a bigger issue at Cleveland.
I'd be shocked if Cavs win both but not surprised (if that made any sense).

Sick of seeing Lebron complain after every call, I'm sure Marc Jackson and crew were defending "the greatest player" every time.
Did he really need to celebrate like they won it all?

    ------
I'm sure Lebron is a good basketball player, he's a physical specimen but man the way the media handles him makes him the player I hate the most beyond anyone else. Excuse after excuse are made if he loses, and when he wins they ride him like a cat in heat. I want the Warriors to win so bad, they are the most talented bunch between the two but no amount of talent will make up what the Cavs have, the three zebras.

    /drunk ramblings....

Kerr needs to consider reducing Bogut's minutes and letting Lee play. Bogut is lost on offense (what happened to him?) and he's getting abused on the boards.

I have no idea. I think it's Bron being the drama queen he is. I doubt he says anything close to that if they lost tonight.

Amazing game by Bron tonight. The Cavs played good D as well. The Warriors can't let this happen. Sure, Steph had a bad shooting game, which happens from time to time, but they are so much deeper then Clevelend, so they have no excuse. Have to get that HC back.

The Dubs were on defensive rebound from securing the win after that spectacular block by Green. To quote Rick Fox: "The party's just getting started..."

You dimwit. You are in the NBA finals - there should be no space left in your motivation tank as is.

The greats...Bird, Johnson, Abdul-Jabbar, Jordan, Bryant find motivation whether real or not. They just don't go out of their way to mention it to the media.

I missed most of OT - didn't see that hack on Bron by Iguodala that wasn't called. The Queen gets away with a ton but that was a horrible no-call. Pretty gaudy numbers regardless of his FG% for the game too, great game. 50 minutes, impressive. He had some help this game too.

Golden State is still the deeper team but Cleveland gets some confidence heading into game 3. Maybe consider giving David Lee some burn? Mozgov/Thompson/LeBron dominated the glass tonight. Maybe that's an overreaction but the Warriors must do a better job as a team rebounding the ball.

This is why I hate the media's coverage of this guy too.

Still think the Dubs pull this out, but this will be such an epic headline if Cleveland pulls this out.

Dubs got hit in the chin, let's see how they respond. They were NBA's best home team and now, they almost lost twice in a row. I hate the media coverage on Lebron like most of us but that guy is a freak. 42/12/9 after two Finals games... if he keeps this up, he'll pull a Jerry West and get the MVP trophy even if the Dubs win ;).

Great defensive effort by the Cavs .

    About the Warriors :

    - Bogut is getting destroyed by Mozgov so far
    - Green needs to be in this series the offensive X factor hes been all season long
    - Warriors took some DUMB early shots without moving the ball during key possessions ... (Klay took some early threes three-four feet behind the 3pt point line WTF)
    - Curry had a terrible game and forced it
    - Warriors are looking VERY nervous imo ... a choking job ala 2006 Mavs unfortunately seems possible

    - David Blatt is a defensive genious.
    - The Warriors are not playing half as good as they can be. and the 2 games were finished in overtime. So they should be fine in the series. if not, it's gonna be one big crapping in the pants.
    - Curry is too excited. stop with the 3's and use you're handles. 7-8 3's is enough for him. He needs to take all the blame for the loss and prove he is the MVP with a good game on Wednesday.
    - Lebron is playing like a monster out there. you have to respect the level he is playing on so many minutes and with so many bodies on him.
as much as I hate it, if GS wins the series and the championship and he keeps playing like this, they need to consider giving him the finals MVP. like Jerry West did.

Wow, it just didn't look like the Warriors wanted that game as much as the Cavs did. They just might have a winning formula here:

    - LeBron is the offense, run everything through him. He's going to average 30 shots per game this series. Either he's getting a high % shot in the post, finding a cutting Mosgov, or open shooters.

    - Tristen Thompson is killing the Dubs on the glass. He doesn't even need to score, he knows his role.

    - Cavs defense has been phenominal. The ball pressure is disturbing Curry even though he had a few looks he normally drains.

If the Cavs win this series with LeBron playing the way he is now, he gets a whole new level of respect from me.

I know it's who he is and part of his incredible skill set but some of Steph's shots game 2 looked fired up there in ridiculously "too" quick of a shooting motion. Especially in the midst of a horrible shooting night.

I guess I'm not too worried. I still believe that the Warriors are the better team and that they will win. Credit to LeBron and the Cavs. They're doing a great job of taking the Warriors out of rhythm, but GSW have enough talent and intelligence to regroup. The Cavs gameplan of taking Curry out of his game is working, and the others need to step up. They lacked ball movement, but remember that this also happened against the Grizzlies. The Warriors will regroup.

On the other side, can the Cavs keep this up? I'm not sure about that. I think the Warriors are playing at a subpar level while Cavaliers are close to maximizing their team. Cavs will get tired though. I think LeBron was 2/12 or something in the 4th/OT last game. It wasn't because he's unclutch. He's tired. His legs are gone. he played 50 minutes last night. He will get 1 day of rest while traveling and then he'll have to do this again tomorrow. Maybe he'll be okay, but I don't think so. The Warriors have enough depth and youth to keep this up though.

Also, I don't like it when fouling somehow becomes "playing physical". To me, that's just stupid. A foul is a foul. You don't just let a team get away with fouls because they do it so often that it somehow becomes an identity of being "physical".
