    Breaking - According to sources, Jared Dudley is waiting for Giannis to decide before he commits to a supermax deal with the Lakers. Sources say Jared Dudley is considering a two year player option to match his contract with LeBron or may consider signing a max contract if Giannis signs his extension.

    Jared Dudley has spoken with LeBron James and has let the Los Angeles Lakers know that if they need to trade him for a top-ten player, he would understand. Sources also say Jared Dudley is weighing his options as he considers joining the stacked free agency class of 2021 where he will be one of the most sought out free agents in decades.

    Jared Dudley has let it be known to the Lakers that he will no longer take a paycut and will only consider a max contract. Lakers are in the process of potentially waiving LeBron James to re-sign Jared Dudley to a supermax contract. Anthony Davis is currently waiting for the Lakers to waive LeBron and re-sign Jared Dudley before committing to the Lakers.

    I think Dudley is getting re-signed.

    Website shows Dudley in the roster with the Lakers new additions as well. You would think that they would remove him if he wasn't coming back.

    What I want for Dudz here whether it's this season or next. I think next season is more likely. We can use him on the roster this year with all these fresh faces around.

    Hell yeah! This one is a lot more important than some realize.

    By all accounts Dudly was such a big influence in guiding the team's attitude and making the season fun. I know some just wanted to move him to a coaching role, but that simply not the same thing. Coaches aren't players. They aren't peers. They're outside of the locker room dynamic. Dudly needed to be a player to give the team energy from the inside and he does it really well. He can also still play well enough that he can contribute a little when called upon.
