Giannis had the same agent as McKinnie in 2020 McKinnie just switched to someone else now so it got deleted
ok I typed something saying they would either waive both or one of them but I just read this and I guess there has been some mention that this was the case:
Every NBA player will have a few good plays. Looking like he will be in the roster for the season so I hope he plays well but I am not convinced that he will have any impact for the Lakers. I'm sure the Lakers would love to remove him from their roster if they could...
i aways wonder about these kind of players -- they have the tools, why don't they succeed? Environment? Between the ears (So... Wes Johnson)?
Same here, Zen. He looked serviceable in GS. He's an end of the bench rotation guy that may only play in garbage mins. If he surprises, great, but I'm not expecting much...
This was from 6 days ago TL; DR He can't score. Awful from the perimeter. But he doesn't look for his shot and he hustles a lot and gives max effort. He's 6'7 and can guard 2s, 3s and even 4s. Plays within himself but is a willing defender and does the dirty work for the team. Just a glue and hustle guy and brings max energy. Nothing notable to speak of offensively. https://www.fearthesword.com/2020/11/17/21559411/cleveland-cavaliers-alfonzo-mckinnie-outlook Few articles after CLE season ended in 2020 https://www.fearthesword.com/2020/3...-season-hiatus-player-review-alfonzo-mckinnie https://kingjamesgospel.com/2020/09...an-help-dylan-windlers-defensive-development/ https://kingjamesgospel.com/2020/08...s-alfonzo-mckinnie-could-glue-guy-years-come/
..... Whoa that's the first decent footage of him I've seen and it's crappy quality. Still .... wow what's not too like with his size and athleticism and decent looking J. Playing for a great coaching staff and with Phil Handy to help polish him. Great personal story too. Lot of grit there. He can learn from the Eagle as well with his rags to almost riches G League to the Show story.
well he wasnt drafted or highly recruited so hes nothing like Wes, hes probably not all that skilled, just athletic and has to work for everything he gets
They have the physical tools, but not that much basketball talent... the feel for the game, court awareness, things like that. They are tall and athletic, so it made sense for them to play basketball, that’s all.
repetition makes one successful, if Bruce Bowen had a career despite his limitation, Alfonzo can have one, too
