I mean defensively he doesn't replace Dwight, but how can you complain about adding the Sixth Man of the Year AND the runner-up to Sixth Man of the Year to a championship squad?! I'm down for this, even if presumably this would be our full MLE
I’m still trying to digest this. Don’t love that he was part of that incredibly dislikable team, but then again I don’t think he got along with George at all. So that’s a plus, his hate for George may fuel him, so I am warming up to it.
Okay after a few minutes of digesting this news, I am now simultaneously very happy but anxious to see how we round out the rest of the roster. Praying Klutch is reasonable with KCP. If we can bring him back, then the rest is gravy.
Oh I expect him to be a defensive monster with Vogel. Just reassign some of his energy on offense to the defensive side
The way Vogel and the team puts defense first...who knows? Anything can happen. Yes, it weakens them which is the cherry on top.
Love this signing.. Replaced the energy Dwight provided with a much more stable & productive player.. Rob is Killing It..!!!
With such a quick turn around this year, resting Bron and lessening his load is the single most important thing. If he doesn't have that gear in the playoffs, it's a wrap. So getting two players who can light it up for 35-40 points off the bench, all by their lonesome is f***ING HUGE! Even if Trez gets the DNPs Dwight got late in the run, it's worth it because you have to get there and you have to have your top guys as rested as possible when you arrive. I think Frank can get better defense out of him. He's a hustle player and that energy is contagious. Man, what a move. Seeing Rob work when he's not being held up by Kawhi is a thing of beauty so far.
People keep saying Schroder will be coming off the bench. He's going to start from what the reports were saying. McGee/Harrell AD/Kuz Lebron/Kuz Matthews/Caruso Schroder/?
