Getting a little excited about this new guard rotation. Caruso, Schroder and KCP is solid. In years past we haven't been able to trade-for-need with such ease, so this was a nice deal to see. Nice one by Rob. I don't know how useful Rondo can be for an extended regular season, but I'd love for him to mentor Dennis. He's more of a natural scorer and he can be a real threat when used properly. If he got just a fraction of Rondo's timing and IQ, he'd be a pretty good player. So kick rocks Clippers.

Love those pump fakes behind the 3-point line because I hated defending guards doing it. I always had to at least put an arm up and show that I will either try to block the shot or anticipate the first step of the drive, and that would easily tire me out.
Still so happy about this. Absolutely stole him. Anyone who can hit an open 3 can fill Green's spot. I'm just happy I don't have to cringe about Green attempting a layup. Always, always thought he'd miss.

The way I see it is we just replaced Rondo+Danny Green with Schroder. Frees up a roster spot to find another shooter. As good as Rondo was and I hate having to say this, who here thinks that at age 35 next season, Rondo would be able to replicate that performance? Plus, the Lakers caught a huge break in regards to Rondo not suffering an injury while the Lakers were in the playoffs bubble even though he was injured as soon as he arrived in the bubble. Schroder solves the Rondo problem, the Danny Green problem, and gives the Lakers a competent player who we can trust can give us 30 minutes of really good production. Considering what other teams gave up in trades, we completely won the Schroder trade.
