Rob Pelinka did more in 2 years and won a title than that dip**** in Boston has done in 20 years and his only title didnt come from getting "assets". He was a one hit wonder in 2008 when his buddy gifted him KG. That's it. He did nothing before or since.

Yah, better at drafting at 2, 3 and 4. Picking 15, 17 and 21 means nothing unless you have stars on the team already.

Yes, everyone always seems to give huge credit to Presti. But what has he really done? He was gifted KD - he left. He picked Westbrook. He was supposed to be the franchise player after AD. He traded him. He let Harden go. That's three MVP's right there. He overpaid Perkins. He lost Ibaka. The team made the Finals and lost to an obviously more veteran team in the Miami Heat, but then they never got back.

Now he has a bunch of picks to show for it and he's in rebuilding mold. I fail to see how great a GM he is. Sorry. He had all of the pieces to be a contender for years and he lost all of them.

A great GM is judged by titles. Danny Ainge has been living off his fluke one from 12 years ago. Presti is a great evaluator and transaction guy. However, not recognizing that Harden was elite cost the OKC Thunder a dynasty. 3 MVPs on the same team and 0 title wins is just as bad to me as a s***ty GM who doesn't do squat. Because in the end, the results are the same but he had the talent. No bueno. And you can't sit there and blame it on the era. It wasn't Shaq and Kobe in your way or Jordan's bulls. As good as Lebron's Heat were, they weren't unbeatable.

2008 wasn’t a fluke for the C Bags... it was a gift. Ainge isn’t even good enough to fall into a fluke, he was gifted KG by his buddy McHale.

Don't think I saw this posted, but Woj was also talking about it on The Jump today

Much rather have Schroder than Bledsoe, who we also were interested in.

he's better, and has been more durable. not sure what happened to jackson--he was never a star or anything, but he looked like garbage on lac last year. wonder if he can bounce back outside of that crappy environment.

is he rated at this point?

feel like he's looking at "prove it to me" contracts this time around.
