Maybe Tristan and Odom can hang out together and talk about Khloe One of the all time worst contracts handed out to a journeyman player in the history of the NBA. Hope we don't get anymore of those types of situations that our leadership falls for. It's crippling for YEARS. Dang, we're still paying Deng.
I'd still sign him. In some ways it could be a good thing for us: keep the competition away and vet min contract for him.
Maybe he wasn't ready for that fancy a**-between-the-legs-handle-jump-back-for-space-3-shooting-drill the other day he posted footage on? This is troubling to read now. Thought he was ready to see what he's got left.
His injuries all in a row on that frame, not good. It’s why I’ve been saying I only take him as a 3rd big if we have guys like Dwight and McGee or someone comparable back, he can’t be relied upon.
No and yes. I'm not convinced Boogie is done. I think he still has productive years ahead. I'd take Thompson so fast as long as LeBron signs off. He is a solid 4-5 who does not need plays called for him, plays D, and knocks down open shots.
I don't think he's done, but rehab taking as long as it is isn't good. Maybe it is in terms of scaring away any other teams. I know some were wanting to slot him into a larger role next season. I sign him as the 15th guy. I expect nothing but for a friend of AD and Rondo to be on the bench and a good teammate on the bench. If he can play at all, it's a bonus. But I shore up the front court pretending he's not even on the team.
feel like you keep one legit 25mpg c (mcgee is ok, howard is great), have another guy you feel comfortable playing 10-15mpg (these are vet mins, youth or veteran--and i think there's a bunch), and keep cousins as the third big.
Hmm... this has to be from his agent. Don't see how that's possible given the injuries, especially if he's not ready to start the season.
Shame he never got to play for us, I wish him well with the rest of his career, hope he can still play at some point.
