Shaq is a big baby. He did the same with Javale... Yes, Dwight and Javale aren't as great as you were. 99% of the players weren't and won't be. But this constant infatuation that he has with belittling other players makes me less of a Shaq fan than ever. Dwight showed more of a player this season than ever before. If Dwight was able to get Kobe to wish him well, Shaq should just stop acting like a baby. He called Giannis the next 'Superman' but at least Dwight was able to take his team to the Finals for Orlando. So who is the real Superman?

Let it go Shaq. No one thinks Dwight was ever in your league. Let the young man enjoy his redemption.

Shaq is a champion and, as far as I know, a good and generous person. But he is, at the same time, childish and petty. Come on man, let it go. Give Dwight a chance to enjoy his championship. Why do you have to do this? Because he "stole" your Superman gimmick? You're 48 years old man, just stop.

howard was a big bright spot who pulled his weight for this ring. really disappointing to see shaq still bullying folks this far out.

don't get me wrong: howard rubbed me wrong during his entire first stint with the team up to and including his exit. and i think piling on him when things went south in houston was TOTALLY in bounds. but he was clearly humbled by the charlotte/whatever experience, and he showed up and did his job at key points to deliver a title. why shouldn't the secondary players celebrate? if howard or caruso or kuzma or kcp don't step up like they did here and there, AD and lebron don't have the ring.

thanks dwight for coming back and making good.

It's unfortunate and untimely because we'd like Dwight back. But of course he sees this from Shaq and now other newswires running with it. Doubt that it helps let's put it that way. Damn Shaq!

Petty and sad on O'Neal's part... Jealous and insecure even with all his accomplishments.

Dwight and the Lakers are such a good fit: really hope he comes back. 20 mpg a game during the regular season and ideal for C matchups in the playoffs.

Shaq is so insecure even after all these years. This is why some of us strongly favored Kobe during the Shaq/Kobe beef.

If Shaq wasn't such as a drama queen and lazy he would be the GOAT right now. Him/Kobe could've won at least 7 titles together but his damn ego hindered his success. His ego has only gotten bigger now and he's belittling younger guys who are not on his level. So pathetic

I have a soft spot for Shaq because I think he's a really funny guy and of course he was such a dominant player as a Laker. But he's always been a bit petty and held grudges. Not a fan of that.

I was completely down on Dwight but he really showed us something this year and he was a fantastic teammate and player. So much so that I really want him back next year. He was a huge part of this championship season and I'd like to see him run it back.

Bit rich coming from someone who joined the Boston Big Three and joined Lebron in Cleveland.

Seems like he is dealing with personal demons in his life and isn’t as positive anymore.

Not a good look Shaq. I was a Shaq guy back in the 3-peat era but he should have been over his pettyness towards Dawite by now. And yes Dawite has every right to celebrate. He was key in the Denver series with his defense on Jokic. He provided energy and kept a good attitude throughout the season. Dawite put his ego to the side and did what was asked of him. So did Shaq's other target, JAVALE MCGEE.

Maybe Shaq is upset 2 of the centers that he has constantly given a hard time to have won championships instead of just being happy for them, especially considering he was the face of the franchise in the early 2000's.

Whatever. we're champions! So Dawite, JAVALE and the rest, celebrate, laugh at the haters (yes, you too Gordon Gekko) and dance on the asterisks! You earned it! F em.

Shaq STFU you went and played for fricking BOSTON!!!! Sit your fat a** down.

Dwight was an integral part of this championship and like others have said, we probably don't win it if he doesn't step up along with other key role players like KCP, Kuzma, Caruso, Kieff and Rondo.

Everyone played a part. Dwight was absolutely part of it and he can say whatever he wants on whatever platform.

Love Shaq but this was really really low, I hated Dwight for what he did in the past but you gotta enjoy his Laker redemption.

Shaq does this once a year. He has a level of 12 year old in his system that comes out.

Dwight Howard was a big part of the Lakers winning the most difficult series during the playoff run. So, to clown him is dumb, especially considering Shaq almost had a similar situation in the 2006 Finals where that Miami team towards the end of that series used Alonzo Mourning for the majority of the games they ended up winning.

He sounds like a hater and a hypocrite which is the worst part.
