Liked him before, and in fact rooted for him against the Spurs in the Finals. I never blamed him for the media overhyping himself.

Never used to hate him, until he joined the Heat. Had he joined minus The Decision and minus Chris Bosh, I would NOT have hated him at all.

Hate diminished when he went back to Cleveland, and was totally gone during that last playoff run with the Cavs. That said, I felt so sorry for him that JR ruined everything for him with that Game 1 brain fart in 2018.

Have to respect what he's done as as basketball player. I will also respect and support his educational ventures for disadvantaged children. Those are great things one can tip your hat to.

There are also things that we can find dislike about him.. Its alright to like some things about Lebron and dislike other things about him.

kinda sums up my lebron journey, too:

was a big fan when he was drafted, loved his game.
hated the miami move, thought it was gutless.
lots of redemption going back to cleveland.
and the move to la was gutsy, given our circumstances.

always liked his game, doubted his competitive spirit in 2010, had already felt better about him before he got here. feel great about him now!

LAbron is a man with many hats. That's obvious to me. He wants to be the GOAT, but he doesn't want to do it the Mike way (different skills and personalities). He wants to be on top of Mount Rushmore at times, but other times is very respectful of the greats before him, and has really come to understand what it means to be a Laker, and the responsibility to be the face of the league. He carries that pressure and conducts himself excellently on and off the court.

Also, he wants to be a philanthropists, but he also cares about his image and publicity so you question his motivations at times.

He is in his core a good dude, but at times, he comes across addicted to his own fame, wants to be the centre of attention and needs the narrative to always be about himself (I am sure sometimes he would even want the weather reporters to connect LeBron James to the weather story lol). He also wants to be a capitalist and businessmen but wants to be an activists and a leader of social change.

Most of all, Bron wants to be a defacto GM, defacto leader of the players association and a defacto player agent (Klutch sports). These combined lead to a lot of hate, but I personally respect his audacity to pull this off lol

Bron is so many things in one, but who really cares as long as he wins 'not 1, not 2, not 3' more rings as a Laker ;)

There were some media members who left LeBron off their top 5 players going into this seasons. And almost everyone picked the Clippers over us to win the title. That’s indeed disrespect, to a player who had gone to 8 consecutive Finals before being injured last season and having a very mediocre roster on top of that. Here’s ESPN as one example of the disrespect our franchise was shown.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27426015/nba-preseason-predictions-our-experts-picks-2019-20

Voted 2nd in the team expected to have the most turmoil, we ended up the team with the least. How many titles does LeBron win as a Laker, 51.5% said zero. LeBron was 3rd behind Curry (LMAO) on their MVP prediction list. Lakers were 4th on their title prediction list, and predicted to finish FIFTH in the West. That’s disrespect, especially to LeBron knowing what he’s done in his career and knowing how motivated he’d be after missing the playoffs and adding AD to our roster. It was disrespect to Vogel, to Rob, to our entire organization, just like LeBron said in that speech, and the media can eat a d*** for it.

His level of maturity is still very adolescent. He isn't really cultured in anything but basketball and his little world.

not sure what this means and how it relates to his comments. his comment was about basketball and commentary about it.

and tbh, very few nba players have shown the level of interest and activity he has outside the game. i don't know what "cultured" means in this context.

I hear he's cultured in wine. Sure he can't spell that great or speak "proper English", but that's not required to be successful.

He's ignorant in a lot of things he thinks he knows about. Like a lot of society.

I post a lot of gifs in reply to people laughing at humor. It's called strategic padding of the posts. Well that and the Clippers hate.

I am not sure if this was mentioned before, but lets talk about NBA & ABA Career Playoff Leaders and Records for Win Shares. Only the elite of the elite were able to reach the rating of 30+. Not even Kobe (28.2), Russell (27.7) or Bird (24.8) were able to get there. So, who are the guys with 30+ then?

    Michael Jordan* 39.76
    Tim Duncan* 37.84
    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar* 35.56
    Magic Johnson* 32.63
    Wilt Chamberlain* 31.46
    Shaquille O'Neal* 31.08

    Impressive, right?

Now, what is LeBron's Win Share rating?
