Cue Simon and Garfunkel. “Hello anxiety my old friend” lyrics. Something like that. ;) :giggle: Good luck Ty .... no pressure here after squeezing an already out of his gourd pissed off Ballmer for your 5 year deal and Snake’s calcifying-gotten-dependent-on-load-managing quad. With an opt out if he or his uncle don’t like you “getting in his face” .... instead of the good ole days with LeBron.

More slapdicks broadcasting their opinions about their life? Why do people give so much s*** what some a******* opinion is? Who the hell cares.

One of the best parts of the season is when Lebron in road games during blowouts would give his shoes away. Thought that was pretty cool to back up the "in game" load management he tends to do

Yes their tradition is to remove any semblance of success. Whether this success be those earned by true franchises or to remove success on a personal level by choking, Clipping and generally crumbling when put to the test.

A vulture feeds on a carcass. No wonder Ballmer looks like a vulture and was attracted to the carrion scented moribund knees of Kawhai Leonard. Snakes aren't generally reputed for having strong knees are they? No wonder they are calcifying like the atavistic traits snake knees must be.

I don’t want a Patrick Beverly on our team, but I’ve given up on such ideals.

signing goons and castoffs to the squad is to be expected when you need to fill in a Top heavy squad with mercenaries. At least Lebron and the team’s leadership has proven capable of getting guys to buy in and fall in line.

I’m glad JR Smith and what’s his name got next to no run in the playoffs. They never deserved to wear Laker jerseys. Just like P Bev doesn’t

    I needed this

    :Laugh::Laugh::Laugh:

I actually rooted for the Clippers for a little while back when Larry Brown was the coach. The underdogs that played the right way, but constantly lost their best players, and then finally too cheap to pay their best coach ever. There was no point. Loser organization. Sad to see someone hurting so much, but with all of the arrogance that came from their camp, my sympathy is pretty low.

if things aren't different next year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ballmer chuck both PG and Kwit before the trade deadline so he gets something in return. 50/50 on them returning to the franchise once they got a big whiff of the stink of Clipper Nation.

    Glorious. Just effing Glorious.

I wouldn't say I went so far as to root for them. But I admit that I liked the Brand/Cassell/Maggette Clippers. They were a fun team to watch and they played the right way. And I liked seeing them do well despite their ownership. I almost felt like they were playing not only against their opposition, but against their own owner as well.

EDIT: I'm sorry. As a mod I should not be derailing threads. Let's get back on topic.

    Clippers are trash.

Odom was on some of those teams too. I admit sheepishly to not hating them then as well. :)

They let Kawhii live in San Diego? Wtf - you have to know that is going to piss people off. It's not like he doesn't have the cash to live in Malibu or Newport or the 100 nice places in So Cal before you get to San Diego

One player I absolutely could NOT hate from the Clippers was Eric "The Polish Rifle" Piatkowski. He was splashing 3s long before Klay/Steph, albeit off the bench and with way lesser minutes, and he had the hops to posterize people Caruso-style long before the latter did. Always saw him as an underdog so he was easy root for, and I wished he had a better team to play for back then.

Wonder what "The Vulture" Ballmer and Lee Jenkins can possibly come up with for the next "hype" billboard campaign. Kind of like the old "Fool me once .... can't get fooled again" saying. ;) Thank you W.

The Ralph Lawler - Bill Walton announcing team was fun to listen to. That was back then when they (the organization) were not as obnoxious.

Watching the Clippers flame out in historic fashion seriously was as much fun as the title 2020.

SO many players on their roster that I hate, particularly monkey boy Pat Bev with his antics.
