Hope AD actually means this, or if he's just trying not to freak people out:

I think he means it, as you pointed out he looked pretty ok for most of the game after he came back in, it was only after he had multiple players fall on him that he started limping again.

I'm sure his heel will be fine. He'll hurt something else though in the first quarter that he'll have to limp through the rest of the game.

    He's always over-dramatic with the contacts/injuries like he's going to miss 6 months then he's fine .

He should stop with this BS

The histrionics cost us points. More points than we lost by.
I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. it happens.

He looked bad at the end of the game. Like hurt, bad. He wasn't moving well at all. It's worrisome.

Davis was laboring up and down the floor. It was fortunate it was not an Achilles. A heel contusion which can be treated?

He looked bad towards the end of the game, glad he fought through it but that turned ankle looked bad.

If he’s not healthy, we’re screwed.

Nice, just came into this thread planning on asking if anyone had medical experience to comment on heel contusions, hoping for an optimistic prognosis. And your post is literally exactly that :D

When he first aggravated it in the first half, it looked bad but he eventually came back and seemed fine. Then he aggravated it again in the fourth, and this time he did look much more debilitated. But you have to remember that when this happened, both teams were short on timeouts and in the final minutes of a historically competitive Finals game. He had to keep running on it and trying to play elite basketball without a second of rest.

If we had an extra timeout and immediately after that fourth quarter aggravation he got to rest for 3-5 minutes, I think he would have looked much better out there.

So I’m cautiously optimistic for him. It’s clear that he’s banged up though. We need to close out in 6. Absolutely need to.

The heel injury didn’t look too bad and he came back to play. The ankle injury in the 4th has me concerned though cause that one looked bad

Easy there, easy. You make it seem like we are losing because of him, while in reality without him we probably lose the finals 0-4

He either has super low pain tolerance or is a drama queen. Feels like every other game he lays on the floor like he has some kind of career ending injury, only to be fine 5 mins later. I like AD but I cant stand this about him.

My sons played their entire HS and some of their college basketball careers wearing Kobe’s. They say they’re the lightest and most comfortable basketball shoes to wear. However, maybe AD needs to examine wearing the low cuts. He may need to wear the high top version that Dwight has worn on occasions this season.

Yeah I think its just low pain tolerance, not a big deal.

Every time i see him writhing in pain, I know he's alright.

I see why he's hesitant to play Center. The guy can get beat up easily. He needs to get stronger.

I agree. I rolled my eyes at him not wanting to play center when he first got here. I get it now. There’s no way he should play center full time. It’d drastically cut years off his career.

Waiting for Mr Glass comments to start ..... ignoring how he wasn’t all year long, because at worst possible time (Finals) random rolled ankle woes and the apparently painful thing going on with his heel.
